"The car drove into the airport" could mean "into the inside of the airport," but it could also mean "into the side of the airport."

After all, when someone says "he drove into a wall," who believes the driver is on the inside of the wall?

The driver was described as a red headed, white Scotsman, the other three were Amish. All of the smoke was from a tobacco fire in the back of the jeep.
