I think drug use is pretty normal for these guys. It has often been found in the “jihadi” sector of the Insane Death Cult (aka Islam).
Did I see someplace (in earlier posts) that you now live in Texas? I was in Houston last year for a conference - and on the tour of the city, they drove us past the "Islamic Dawa Center," in the heart of downtown Houston and located in the former State Court building, a lovely columned creation thst screams "Court" and had been bought by the Muzzies only a couple of months before tge conference.
Dawa means something roughly equivalent to "conversion," btw, and they had their big banner draped between the columns announcing their name and "mission."
We're not taking this seriously enough.

I think what I saw was about Hamas and the “belt boys” but you have to be drugged or crazy to commit suicide like this. It isn’t a normal human trait. Survival is.
I guess we just have to wait. Sometimes stories are exaggerated and sometimes it’s hushed up. IF someone was carjacked, that alone will cause terror. It could also cause violence in response to the fear.

You would be correct about Glasgow being a hub for troops going to and from Iraq, I was there about 2 days ago on my way back to the Sandbox from leave.
Was it the same "Glasgow Airport"? The other one is at Prestwick, which is 30 miles from the city centre. Prestwick is the one usually used by the military. My old school in Prestwick looked out over the airport and thus I developed an interest in aviation. Elvis made his only UK visit at Prestwick on the way to and from Germany when in the army. Yesterday's incident was at Abbotsinch, which is only about 8 miles from the city centre.

Yep, that’s basically it. Like alot of these words you might think us Brits use alot, we really don’t.
I very seldom here the word numpty, but basically, yes it means idiot - might be used if someone makes a silly mistake - i.e. they spill their drink. Not always used in a ‘nasty’ way.

It is a scary thought to see somewhere you frequent or have been recently up in flames from an attempted terrorist attack.
