That’s quite a bit, certainly, but more of a big fire than a ‘massive explosion’...
If there were indeed propane cannisters there, I’d imagine they were the primary device.....

Either the suspect owned the car, borrowed the car, stole the car or rented the car.
Whatever it is, info should have been forthcoming pretty darn quick at least on the car ownership.
Of course, that is, if the plates and the VIN match...

It’s just off Picaddilly, on Haymarket. As far as I recall, most other premises immediately around it (within that block) are closed at that hour.
Tiger Tiger has a huge glass wall on the side that faces the main street. The main bar would have been closest, but it has 3 levels (one with a dancefloor in the basement) and the most crowded area is on the main floor on the far end away from the street.
