Vote not yet complete but NAYS are well over 40. A lot of unexpected NAYS including McConnell, Voinovich, Warner. More details soon.
Now dat was fuuny!
Some things I HOPE we all remember:
1. If your Pubbies voted wrong on this issue, there SHOULD be enough primary opposition to kick them out. This should eliminate the awful prospect that one might have to vote for a Dem.
2. Mr. Bush now has a serious problem: He has failed in the clandestine mission given him by his NWO masters. He will almost certainly pay a price for that.
3. This exercise proves that grassroots STILL can make the difference.
4. Let’s keep the pressure on these clowns to ENFORCE and STRENGTHEN the existing immigration laws. That’s been the problem all along.
Mark down those names of REPUBLICAN Senators and remember them well if they're your Senator so you can let them know how you feel about their vote against the nation's best interests and the future of our children. Thank God neither of mine are on that list of shame, but if they were they would never get my vote or a dime of support from me again, and I would make sure to let them know it.
PERFECT
I don’t know what to make of Larry Craig’s vote for amnesty. I have always had a good deal of respect for him based mostly on his strong support for 2nd amendment rights. He’s an NRA board member and usually votes for the conservative position on all issues that come before the Senate. All I can imagine is that Bush got to him somehow, because I don’t believe the people of ID wanted this abominable bill passed.
And step by step where this traitorous senate is concerned. :)
Mexico
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
USA
Build the damn fence.
THANKS for the list of Repub’s who voted YEA on this thing. We should also include Brownback and Voinovich, who voted YEA but changed to NAY when it became apparent the bill was going to die.
So it’s the Dirty Dozen plus two.
NOW - Which are up for election in 2008?
Our next job is to TARGET THEM in their primaries.
I am serious, enough with this...
2008 ELECTION - AMNESTY ACTION LIST:
RINOs voting YEA, up for re-election in 2008 - RECRUIT OPPONENTS:
Craig, Larry (R-Id)
Graham, Lindsay (R-SC) (a leader in the pro-amnesty effort)
Hagel, Chuck (R-Neb)
“Switched” votes today, up for re-election in 2008, unreliable - KEEP UP PRESSURE, recruit opponent:
Warner, John (R-Va)
Switched over course of bill, lesson learned for re-election in 2008? - KEEP UP PRESSURE, recruit opponent:
Chambliss, Saxby (R-Ga)
McConnell, Mitch (R, Ky - Minority Leader)
GOOD GUYS up for re-election in 2008, deserve our $Support:
Sessions, Jeff (R-Ala)
Cornyn, John (R-Tx)
I am going to put this list out all over the place. I owe it to myself, as a California property-holder and a LEGAL American voter, to do something meaningful about this!
What is it like to go through life full of anger and hatred all day long??
Only liberals can answer that question.
Craig is up for election in 08, but is thinking of retiring. That might be why he thumbed his nose at his constituency. Or maybe he was thinking of his rich pals in Sun Valley??? heh
If you live in his state, you might want to get involved in state party long enough to help find a replacement candidate to run in the primary.

This is the defining issue of our times...he needs to go.
That would be Sen. Smith’s alledged upcoming bill that tells employers that if they cant match their employee names to a legit SS #’s, they cannot deduct that employees wages as expense in their tax returns. It would then put the resources of the IRS onto the employers.
As much as I despise the Infernal Revenue ... this would work ...
Ill not soon forget or forgive those who have supported this bill or called me a racist for opposing it.

Ditto!
BTW: We cannot let our guard down. They will try something. Either attaching it to other bills or midnight tricks or something.
As someone mentioned on another thread: we will have to watch them with a level of vigilance that even FReepers are not accustomed to.
&&
You are, sadly, so right.
If you set up or see a ping list when they resurrect the monster please add me to it. Thanks.
Power to the People!!!
This Hanoi Jane left-wing slogan from the distant past finally fits the right-side.
&&
You are right!
They used to chant:
Power to the people!
Off the pigs!
We can chant:
Power to the people!
Off the pork!
Meanwhile, Teddy Kennedy is soaking wet, and is walking back to the Ferry as John Kyl sinks below the surface, still in the back of the “Amnesty Oldsmobile”
&&
Too clever!
Vote breakdown anyone?
&&
Could you please ping me to the answer when you get it? Thanks.
