Is there any way to determine who waited to vote no until the no votes hit 40 and who switched from yes to no when the no votes hit 40?

I'm wondering, of the Senators that flipped their votes to "No" on cloture, how many are up for election next year? Never forget the primary role of a politician - to get reelected.

One thing I see is amnesty will be a major campaign issue for the 2008 election.

If Clinton and Obama voted for it they can forget the Ind voters and many of their union voters.

Every candidate on both sides will be grilled on how they would vote or veto it.
