Today President Bush spoke at the rededication of the Islamic Center of Washington. (Transcript)
Returning to the White House, the president met with experts to discuss how individual citizens can (and should) have the power to make their own health care decisions, not the government. He spoke about this later in the Roosevelt Room. (Transcript)
First Lady Laura Bush continued her tour of Africa, arriving in Maputo, Mozambique. There, Mrs. Bush met with President Armando Guebuza and toured US funded facilities that are fighting malaria and AIDS while helping the victims of those diseases.
Back home, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice spoke at the US-India Business Council in Washington.
And on a much lighter (and happier) note, President Bush attended the Seventh-Annual Tee Ball Game this afternoon on the South Lawn of the White House. (Transcript)

Re: Post @ # 2! Well chosen/typed/placed/put!

Thanks for the ping, (((SJ)))!
FYI: In an effort to ridicule this thread, Barnacle (whoever that is) has started a ‘spoof’ thread using a very similar title . . . fine . . . HOWEVER, this thread should NOT be listed under the “A Day in the Live of President Bush” banner, as it currently is . . . Would you re-locate it please?!
LOL - good on you for taking on Barnacle. I award thee 10 virual toasters!!!!
I have been out of here for a while since I have this torn rotator cuff and did not recognize his name and when I saw he was banned, I knew he was one of the nutty ones.
Yup - he’s a nut case all right - taking on the dose!
