Elizabetty’s comments were very appropriate. Your comments however are not. If anyone needs to leave this site, it should be you. Go over to DU yourself. They hate America, too.

"Can anyone explain Bush’s actions? Why he would imply his conservative base are bigots and racists? Explain why this immigration bill is suddenly more important than the WOT?"

You ask two very profound questions here, so let me put on my tin-foil hat, cinch it down tightly and attempt to answer them.

First, neither George W. nor his father are real Republicans; they only pretend to be for political advantage. When G.W. Bush said, “I’m a compassionate Conservative,” that was just double speak for, “I’m a flaming Liberal.”

Did you ever wonder why, of all the people the Democrats could have ran against Bush, they chose two world class idiots like Gore and Kerry to run against him. Maybe they wanted their fake candidates, Gore and Kerry, to lose because their real candidate was none other than George W. Bush himself. The American people went to the polls twice, voted for the lesser of two idiots, and the Democrats then had their man firmly in place and in position to destroy the Republican Party for all time.

The Iraq War just might have been a diversion, something to divert the American people’s attention from our southern border and illegal immigration. If President Bush and his fellow Democrats can pass this “George Bush/Ted Kennedy Immigration Bill,” and achieve amnesty and immediate Citizenship as the Bill will now provide to millions of illegal aliens, the Republican Party will cease to exist. Bush and the Democrats know there are no future Republican voters among the ranks of these illegal aliens; they’ve already promised these “New Citizens” full access to our Social Security “Lock Box” if they will only register as Democrats, and that will be the end of the two-party system for at least the remainder of this century.

Are there any other questions?

Heard Mark Levin (my hero, sigh) reciting some of Mexico’s laws regarding illegals.

Here are some from another website:
http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=14632

Mexico has a single, streamlined law that ensures that foreign visitors and immigrants are:
in the country legally;

have the means to sustain themselves economically;

not destined to be burdens on society;

of economic and social benefit to society;

of good character and have no criminal records; and

contributors to the general well-being of the nation.

The law also ensures that:

immigration authorities have a record of each foreign visitor;
foreign visitors do not violate their visa status;

foreign visitors are banned from interfering in the country’s internal politics;

foreign visitors who enter under false pretenses are imprisoned or deported;

foreign visitors violating the terms of their entry are imprisoned or deported;

those who aid in illegal immigration will be sent to prison.

Funny that our President is bending over backwards to appease Mexico.

I think he has done far more damage to the United States than have Jane Fonda, John Kerry or Jimmy Carter.

Interesting comment. You might be correct, especially if he gets his way. If this occurs, the carnage we see now is just the very beginning, as we are not looking at 30,000,000 legalized illegal aliens, it will be more like 100 million.

I hope everyone realizes what this means, and how this will dramatically change the course and direction of America in every aspect.

This amnesty bill will be the opening act of a play called “The Socialization of America “( subtitled “ How to Become a Third World Toilet Nation in One Easy Step “
I support the conservative cause not any one personality .

I am rethinking my long held reflexive opinion that the alternatives to George Bush would have been worse. I am not so sure that America would not have been safer under a President Gore or President Kerry.

At the very least, Congress would have grown a spine and we would still have a Republican Congress. Now it looks like we’ll have a Democrat trifecta in 2008 and maybe for the rest of my life.

It’s not all the hate that bothers me, it’s the hysteria behind it. I haven’t seen such fear and demagogy since...

I think we all have been mystified by the determination of President Bush and such formerly-idolized Senators as John Kyl to get this immigration bill passed. This morning on a Phoenix talk radio station, the host was talking about this very thing. He said he believes more and more that the CIA and Dept. of Defense have presented a nightmare scenario to the White House and Congress of what might happen if suddenly the $20-25 billion that flows into Mexico each year (via the illegals working here) suddenly stopped. He pointed out the high possibility of that country erupting in chaos and a complete breakdown of government, such as it is. America-haters, like Chavez and Abadnijad (however you spell that) would be only to happy to step in. I still hate the idea of this immigration bill, but this is one plausible explanation why it’s being pushed so hard.

I despise Gore/Kerry but, frankly, they would be -- at least at this point -- doing us less dammage.
The WORST thing is to have a traitor or a moron in charge of YOUR OWN house.

Congratulations. In a growing line of Bush Derangement Syndrome infected posts on this thread, yours shows perhaps the most delusion so far.

No Dem president could convert us to MexAmerica. Without WH pressure, the Republicans would be united and could easily kill this thing in the senate, even with a minority. The republicans couldn't be united when they had both the majority AND a GOP president, but you think they would be united against a dem president pushing this. In case you haven't noticed, the pubbies going along with this kennedy bill are the pubbies that have opposed W on almost everything else. The WH pressure is not influencing the GOP senators that are supporting this bill and they would not be standing up against it if a dem were in the WH.

Yours is a post worthy of Cindy Sheehan.

This has many funny lines, and makes many valid points. It is, however, in my opinion, so insulting as to be counter-productive. It detracts from many valid points on the immigration issue, by its too many personal cracks disparaging the President as a person.

Sounds like you just described an Ann Coulter column.

Explain why this immigration bill is suddenly more important than the WOT?

Paying closer attention, you would understand there is nothing sudden about this. Americana's have been voting, protesting, screaming, begging, and pleading with their representatives for years now to secure and protect our borders We've been ignored and basically told to shut up so the wealthy elite, that are funding these politicians, can continue to count their illegal profits on the backs of Americans.

As our country is allowed to be literally over run with millions entering illegally, causing every problem imaginable, the war in Iraq is becoming very distant issue.

It's hard to be concerned with a house fire elsewhere, when your own home is on fire.

You really have not been paying attention, have you? It's the New World Order that his daddy bragged about. It's one world government, globalism, or the latest euphemism.

Bush has to destroy American in order to usher in the New World Order. This immigration bill will just about destroy America. HE HAS TO DO THIS -- HE HAS NO CHOICE. It is that reason he was put into office by the powers that be. As his daddy can and doubtless has told him, it's not nice to cross the PTB. Just ask President Kennedy.
