He clearly knowingly and intentionally abused his position for political purposes!
Honestly, capital punishment should be on the table for such abuse as far as I’m concerned.

So Nifong resigned in tears. Tough. If Seligman had been MY boy and broken down on the stand today, there would not have been enough of Nifong left to sweep up, far less for him to resign. Teeth, hair and eyeballs all over the court house floor - all Nifong’s. Ain’t it nice to see the job he lied and cheated and committed criminal acts to get ripped away from him on national TV!! Ain’t America great!!
