I didn't see anything posted on this live testimony. Who's watching it and what are your thoughts?
This must be the type of hearing that Sandy Berger avoided by turning in his license to practice law. Too bad he was given that option. I never knew anything about such a hearing before.
Possibly this shows Nifong to be a control freak. He wants to seem “in charge” even when he’s going down. So he preempts the panel and in effect “assesses his own punishment” or appears to anyway by stating the obvious before the panel has a chance to. Might not have any legal ramifications. Who knows. Nifong is weird.
Perhaps he’s going to try for an insanity defense?

Usually those hearings don’t grab media attention. In my state, they are open to the public, but the general public doesn’t show up for them, and neither does the television media.

Wendy Murphy....do you remember her being totally convinced the boys were guilty throughout the mess....said on FOX today that “they won’t bring charges against Mangum...that one of the boys fathers said they shouldn’t.”
To this she added that “hush money was given to the accuser last year.”

i understand they can’t..... but deals such as this can still be cut and i believe that is what happened.....someone somewhere....the judge who could charge him with perjury maybe....or the AG.....someone promised his attorney’s something if he would stipulate to the charges and disbarment.....

No. Sandy Berger accepted a plea deal offered him by the Boosh Department of inJustice that came gift-wrapped with an agreed to sentence.

True. Where are those three twits, Wendy Murphy, Nancy Grace, and Kimberly Guilfoyle, who were crucifying these boys on their TV shows last year? When the boys get done suing Nifong and Dukle Univ. they should go after those three loudmouths.

Then when Nifong yells in celebration, they say, “Just toying with you. You are disbarred!”
As if the AG wouldn’t have found out something like that.
