Actually he blamed Reid, said that if he has spoken like he did today he would have rethought the accusation.

I’ll bet you he has his Attorney’s Registration with him and puts it on the desk of whomever is in charge.

I agree. He needs to be disbarred and pay the consequences for destroying lives and costing these families a small fortune in legal fees, not to mention the boys College Educations were disrupted.

I’m waiting for the cross examination.

One of the attorney is quoted as saying it is not good enough to little to late. His client was railroaded by Nifong.

oh definitely his license to practice law is what at stake, not his position as DA. he needs to be disbarred.

Even if he resigns he still has a law license. He needs to have that taken from him. Looks like it’s just a feeble last ditch effort.

Sounds like he's giving up his position as DA, not resigning from the NC Bar Assn.
His resigning from the BAR would keep him from continuing in this hearing. He may be afraid of making statements which could (and should be) used against him in a civil rights prosecution.
That would be s smart tactical move.

To: Right_in_Virginia
Right, we still need:
1. A thorough cross.
2. Him disbarred.
He is a liar and might “change” his mind if they don’t disbar him.

Same coward that riled the town into a frenzy. He's a "clever" coward.
Scr** this Board thing. Let's see someone press some Federal charges against him. Those boys were entitled to their "rights" and they were discriminated against big time.

He is unbelievable.
He says that, if Mr. Seligmann had presented himself then the same way he did today in court, he [Nifong] might have re-interviewed the accuser, and the results might have been different.
[IIRC, that was one of the complaints from the defendants Nifong continually refused to meet with them.
Now, Nifong is almost in tears.

What a crying shame he didn’t even give Reade that chance.
Too late now. Off with his head!

The Town must be getting aroused by these tactics. He knows how to work them. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a “support for Nifong” parade tomorrow.
