My condolences to his family. Tonk was one of the GREAT Freepers, and he will be remembered fondly, especially those of us who have been here awhile. Requiescat In Pace Tonkin, you have earned it.

Many of us did not know Mr. Tonkin personally, However, those of us old enough to remember the tragedies of Vietnam, know that he represented America’s best.

He was a warrior, just as our sons and daughters across the world today. May he rest easy from his sojourn. He is, and always will be with us, in our hearts.

God Bless You, Tonk.

No need for thanks. It is an honor for me to have known him.

The several prayer warriors at work today wish for your peace and comfort as well. Know that you are among friends.
