Tonight's cloture motion has just gone down to defeat. No where near the 60 yea votes needed to cut off debate.
Harry now pontificating on Senate floor.
To have been such a deft political machine in the runup to the first election in 2001, the political geniuses in the second term have been awful. It is like they lost their balance and hearing and simply don’t give a damn what their constituents think.
I am from South Carolina. Graham is history.
It looks like he voted against it.
I know, I know! Am I a:
a. Vigilante
b. Racist
c. Bigot
d. Don't care what is good for America
e. All of the above
Inhofe should also have included ending the practice of babies born of foreign parents who are here illegally, of automatically being given citizenship.
The traitorous pro-amnesty politicians are like vampires. They will keep coming back to our throats again and again if they think we're sleeping and they can get a similar bill passed.
Keep silver stakes, wolfbane and crosses at the ready, troops! We may need them at a moment's notice.
Stay vigilant!

Couldn't agree more. It's the American People who are at fault, not our benevolent ruling class.
Lol!
More rhetorical magic brought to you by:
Amnesty.
Having trouble articulating an argument.
Amnesty
Having trouble winning elections?
Amnesty.
Worried you might be irrational?
Amnesty.
Just keep saying it. It makes it true.
What would we call them? Mattressbacks?
Senator Sessions is my new-found hero.

All they understand is $. Tell them they won’t get any.
And you are a nut!
“His base is pathetic.”
Actually his base is not pathetic. It’s just getting smaller by the day.
As in only 27% still think he’s the best.
Let another Katrina, Harriet Miers or Dubia Ports deal mistake crop up and you will be in the high teens. i.e 18-19%
Bush favored this bill because he and Karl Rove are suffering from the delusion that 12 - 20 million illegal Mexican and other assorted invaders are going to eventually favor the Republican party and vote for Republicans, thus keeping the Republicans in power for gernerations. I would think that the Socialist/Mexicans and other assorted illegals waving Mexican flags and demanding their new Aztec homeland from America's southwest would have disabused them of their fantasy. But it didn't.
President Bush is also determined to merge America, Canada and Mexico into some sort of weird continent-wide union similar to the failed and bizarre EU on the other side of the Atlantic. Americans will never stand for that. And he knows it. So he has tried to make it a defacto union by ignoring our immigration laws and not deporting anyone -- even criminals. Americans can see the results of this in their cities, neighborhoods, crime statistics and the decline in their society.
Also, George Bush's brother Jeb is married to a Mexican national. This I believe has also influenced his position regarding unlimited Mexican/Latino immigration. Not to mention all the other illegals/legals that are invading this land of ours. There is far to much "legal" immgration too!
You’re living in the past. He was awesome. Not any more.
Considering what Lott and Reid had to say this AM of their constituencies, it’s gonna be a miracle there’s not heated tar and loose feathers awaiting them back home. Their beligerance and demonstrative contempt for the American voter is sickening..
