Thank you for posting this. It is a very important video. I have known women who have lived only a year with this and also women who have survived several years. We women are taught to feel for lumps but this type is just an overall swelling sometimes. Thanks again, you may well have saved some lives.
Thank you so much for posting. Will send it along in my emails.
My Mom and sister both had breast cancer, it is good to watch out for this also.
A co-worker’s wife had IBC.
She’s a survivor.
It took nearly a year for the doctors to find it.
They all knew something was wrong, looking at the inflammation.
But the standard tests did not show lumps, and the needle biopsies did not find cancer cells.
With IBC, the cells are widespread and webbed, and hard to detect.
BTTT!!!!!!
Wow! Thanks for posting. You may just save a life.
God’s will........I’m just sharing what was shared with us.
It’s important to know about IBC because it has a much higher fatality rate than the other types of breast cancer, but to keep the anxiety level down, what is also important to know is that it’s far, far less common than the types which present with a lump and can often be diagnosed by mammogram.

My grandmother died of IBC in 1974. She just turned 60. She only knew she had it a short time. It is nasty.
