Hillary Clinton has identified a grievous flaw in the contemporary American economy: It leaves "it all up to the individual." This hateful individualism is allegedly driving income inequality and destroying the American Dream.
Clinton calls it "the 'on your own' society," displaying a liberal Democrat's curious aversion to people doing things on their own. In contrast, she offers a collectivist vision of "shared responsibility for shared prosperity," making the case for it based on a farrago of mistruths about the state of the economy. She actually is not interested in sharing anything, but instead hogging all the credit for economic growth in the 1990s for her husband and, by extension, herself.

this subject probably raises my blood pressure more than any other. The idea that you are “on your own” if the GOVERNMENT isn’t wiping your butt for you is sickening. Nobody is on their own. Supporting these government programs is just a way for liberals to avoid actually doing anything that actually helps people. Many times I have had some lib idiot tell me that I don’t care about others, when I actually give some of my time and money voluntarily, while they do nothing but bitch about the inequities of society. I sit here thinking I should do more, while they are doing nothing but finding new ways to bitch.
How much waste does the government have to go through? How many studies have to show the greater utility of private social organizations (gasp!!! churches and ministries!!!)? Is it not obvious that when you are spending other people’s money on other people, there just might be a few problems? How can so many “smart” people not get that? How many times does their way have to fail? How many times on how many continents tried by how many diverse peoples does something that is “good in theory” have to fall apart before we can no longer say it is “good in theory.” The theory sucks almost as bad as its reality.
We didn’t win the Cold War, because the other side wasn’t made to suffer for their stupid ideas.
Writer Lowry is giving Bubba too much credit for the favorable economy of the 90s. That was mostly an end result of lower taxation and control on spending forced on WJC by the GOP Congress.

If this collectivist manages to get the nomination of her party, and then goes on to win the Presidency AND the Democrats retain control of Congress, this nation is in grave danger.
Now add to the above recipe for disaster, the possible passage of the Amnesty Bill, allowing the entry of 20+ million more uneducated potential Democratic voters, and this nation will turn into a 3rd world socialist cesspool.
Ladies and gentleman, I pray this the above does not happen. But this is not a joke. We will all be in serious trouble should it occur.
