:::FreeRepublic's Threat Matrix:::
British Intelligence: Al-Qaida Expanding
-Full Story-

British intelligence officials said they believe that al-Qaida has a secure base in Pakistan's Waziristan region and is planning terrorist operations.

The group is reaching out to Muslims in North Africa, The Telegraph reported. Last year, the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat, an Algerian terrorist group, merged itself into al-Qaida, a move announced by Osama bin Laden's chief lieutenant, Ayman al-Zawahiri, in a tape promising action against the "apostates" in the Algerian government and "the treacherous sons of France."

Al-Qaida is also believed to be planning expansion into Lebanon and Syria, the newspaper report said.

“FAA Computer Problems Cause Departure Delays”

ARTICLE SNIPPET: “(CBS) NEW YORK CBS station WCBS-TV in New York has learned the Federal Aviation Administration experienced computer problems in departure planning early this afternoon, forcing numerous departure delays at numerous airports nationwide. Officials said normal operations began returning between 1 p.m. EDT and 2 p.m.

Travelers were expected to experience delays throughout the day.

Thousands of travelers were stuck in grounded flights, with many airports being forced to manually plug in flight information in order for planes to depart. The issue apparently began Thursday night when the Atlanta center had trouble processing flight plans. As a result, the FAA switched over to their Salt Lake City center, which experienced similar problems today.”

Combined Forces Kill 21 Insurgents, Detain 20; Car Bombs Damage Mosques

American Forces Press Service

WASHINGTON, June 8, 2007 – Coalition and Iraqi forces have killed 21 insurgents, detained 20 suspects, and discovered several weapons caches over the past few days in Iraq, military officials reported. Also, two car bombs detonated near Abu Ghraib yesterday, causing major damage to two mosques.

Coalition forces killed one terrorist and detained 12 suspected terrorists during operations targeting the al Qaeda in Iraq network today in Anbar province.

Based on information gained from an operation May 27, coalition forces raided several buildings northeast of Fallujah. After the coalition forces announced their presence through an interpreter, one terrorist outside the building threw a hand grenade at the ground forces. Coalition forces took appropriate self-defense measures and engaged the armed terrorist with small-arms fire, killing him.

Coalition forces searched the buildings and detained 12 suspected terrorists for their alleged involvement in the al Qaeda in Iraq network. Information gained from earlier operations indicates the suspects are involved in indoctrination for al Qaeda in Iraq. In one ceremony conducted by the network, those who declined to join the terrorist group were killed.

“Terrorists have no place in the future of Iraq, and their elimination will help allow the people of Iraq to choose a secure future,” said Army Lt. Col. Christopher Garver, Multinational Force Iraq spokesman.

In another operation, Iraqi national police prevented a suicide bomber driving a mini-bus from entering Baghdad’s Sadr City neighborhood yesterday.

While waiting in line to enter Sadr City, the driver of the vehicle detonated the car bomb 200 meters from the checkpoint, killing four Iraqi civilians and wounding eight others. No Iraqi security forces were injured in the explosion. Following the blast, Iraqi explosive ordnance teams defused additional unexploded munitions in the vehicle.

Elsewhere, two car bombs detonated, causing major damage to two mosques near Abu Ghraib yesterday.

The first attack occurred at 10:56 a.m., near an Iraqi army traffic-control point. A suicide bomber in a tractor trailer detonated what explosive ordnance teams estimated to be 800-1,000 pounds of explosives, killing two Iraqi army soldiers and one Iraqi resident and wounding four other soldiers.

The blast severely damaged two nearby mosques. A Shiia mosque was nearly 90 percent destroyed in the attack, while a nearby Sunni mosque was heavily damaged, as well. Other buildings, including a school and several shops, also were damaged in the attack. Eight civilian vehicles were also damaged.

In the second attack, at about 11 a.m., a suicide bomber detonated a vehicle about four blocks away from the first attack. One Iraqi army soldier was killed and another injured in the blast.

Coalition forces said the attacks may have been launched by al Qaeda in order to disrupt the reconciliation process in the area. “This type of attack shows al Qaeda has a complete disregard for all Iraqis, regardless of what sect they belong to,” said Lt. Col. Peter Andrysiak, deputy commanding officer for the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, whose troops work in the Abu Ghraib area.

In Baghdad, Multinational Division Baghdad soldiers and Iraqi army forces conducted a targeted raid and detained two suspected kidnappers June 6.

Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 7th Field Artillery, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, and Company A, 2nd Battalion, 136th Combined Arms Brigade, established a perimeter around a western Baghdad home and knocked on the front door.

The soldiers, along with their Iraqi counterparts from the 3rd Battalion, 6th Iraqi Army, detained the suspect accused of planning, coordinating and executing numerous kidnappings throughout western Baghdad. The man was taken into custody without incident, and the other occupants of the home were questioned.

Following a search of the home, the suspect’s brother was found to possess personal items belonging to an Iraqi interpreter killed three days earlier when the vehicle he was traveling in was struck by an improvised explosive device. With the evidence discovered in the home, the brother also was detained. Both suspects remain in custody.

In a separate operation, Iraqi army forces conducted an early-morning operation June 6, capturing two insurgent leaders linked to an al Qaeda terrorist network in northern Iraq and detaining five other suspected insurgents. The two insurgent leaders are accused of conducting multiple assassinations and improvised-explosive-device attacks on innocent civilians and coalition forces.

Acting on previous intelligence, Iraqi forces raided the residences and detained their primary targets without incident. Five other individuals were detained during the operation.

Multinational Division Baghdad soldiers, acting on a tip from a local Iraqi citizen, discovered and destroyed a car bomb and an explosives cache in southern Baghdad June 6.

Soldiers from Company C, 1st Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, attached to the 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment “Vanguards,” discovered the car bomb while on patrol in a rural area after receiving a report from a local resident of suspicious activity in the area.

A search of the area also resulted in the discovery of 14 55-gallon drums containing homemade explosives. After cordoning off the area, both the car bomb and explosives were disposed of by an explosive ordnance disposal team.

“This is one more car bomb and cache of explosives discovered and destroyed that will never be used against innocent Iraqi civilians or coalition forces,” said Col. Ricky D. Gibbs, commander of 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division. “I’m extremely proud of these soldiers who continue to maintain their edge and act on information provided by courageous Iraqis who are taking a stand against insurgent activity here.”

Elsewhere, a joint team of Iraqi and coalition forces used air and ground firepower to destroy insurgents operating in Kabat village, near Baqouba, June 5.

Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 5th Iraqi Army Division, and Company D, 1-12th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, engaged and killed 19 insurgents and wounded one other after the insurgents fired on the joint team with small-arms fire and rocket-propelled grenades from inside three buildings.

“The Iraqi soldiers demonstrated their increased capabilities and, with support from coalition forces, brought those terrorists to justice,” said Army Lt. Col. James D. George Jr., acting commander for 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division.

Iraqi army and coalition ground forces, supported by attack aircraft, fixed terrorist positions and used combined ground and air firepower, consisting of small arms, rockets and bombs, to kill or root out the insurgents. Two Iraqi army soldiers were killed, and one U.S. soldier and one Iraqi civilian were wounded during the engagement.

Afghan, Coalition Forces Defeat Enemy Fighters; Civilians Reject Insurgents

American Forces Press Service

WASHINGTON, June 8, 2007 – Elements of the 205th Afghan National Army Corps, advised and assisted by coalition forces, defeated enemy insurgents in two separate firefights in Afghanistan’s Kandahar and Zabul provinces June 6, military officials reported.

The first battle took place midday near the village of Petaw, in the Shah Wali Kot district of Kandahar province, when an unknown number of enemy forces fired on a combined patrol. The combined patrol immediately returned fire, then quickly maneuvered to kill several enemy fighters within two hours.

The second battle took place during the hours of darkness in the Deh Chopan district of Zabul province when enemy forces fired 107 mm rockets at a coalition firebase. Afghan and coalition forces returned mortar fire then pursued an unknown number of enemy attackers as they attempted to get away. During the pursuit, the combined force exchanged small-arms fire with the fleeing attackers, killing a number of them.

No Afghan civilian injuries were reported in the separate battles.

“Afghan National Army and coalition forces will remain devoted to uprooting insurgent elements in the region,” said Army Maj. Chris Belcher, a Combined Joint Task Force 82 spokesman. “We will continue to assist and advise the (Afghan National Army) by conducting combined security operations in order to enhance the Afghan government’s ability to maintain stability in the region.”

Elsewhere, several hundred Afghans and village elders from the Ali Khail (Jaji) and Laja Ahmad Khail districts of Paktya province forced enemy insurgents out of their villages June 4.

The Afghan villagers were angered over the enemy insurgent presence in their area and informed Afghan national police and coalition forces, officials said. Afghan civilians confronted the insurgents, took their weapons, and told the enemy insurgents they were no longer welcome in their districts.

Afghan residents near Chamkani also stopped enemy insurgents from bringing fighters, suicide bombers and material from Pakistan through the area. Two weeks ago, Chamkani Afghan police members intercepted two suicide bombers after receiving information from the local populace. As a result, one suicide bomber was not able to harm anyone and blew himself up. During that same time period, Afghan civilians came to the aid of two Afghan border control points and repelled enemy forces as they attempted to overrun the positions.

Two days ago, in neighboring Paktika province, local tribal members near Shkin pursued enemy insurgents near the Pakistan border after the insurgents killed two civilians and injured several others during an enemy direct-fire attack on the local bazaar.

In Khowst province, the local populace has pledged support to serve and protect the region from insurgents and assist the local legitimate government. In addition, Afghan civilians have expressed their support to assist local checkpoints in the Zambar region.

“Afghan civilians living in Paktya, Paktika and Khowst have decided to not allow enemy insurgents to seek refuge in their villages anymore,” Belcher said. “There is no limit to what the Afghan National Army and Afghan national security forces can accomplish with the support of the Afghan populace.”

Al Qaeda announces jihad against India

Jihad against India, announced on a cd distributed in mosques across Kashmir valley. Why didn’t the Muslims in those mosques rise up and denounce this twisting and hijacking of Islam? From PTI, with thanks to Anucseth:

A compact disc allegedly circulated by terrorist outfit Al-Qaeda has surfaced in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
Top police brass said the CD’s veracity was being verified.

The CD was given to a local news agency in Srinagar [Images] along with a statement purportedly issued by so-called chief of the banned outfit in India Abu Abdul Rehman Al-Ansari....

“We have come to know about the CD and are in the process of verifying its authenticity. It will be premature to make a comment at this moment,” he said.

The statement allegedly issued by Al-Ansari claimed that 1000 copies of it have been distributed in mosques across Kashmir valley.

In the CD, the terrorist outfit has announced jihad against India.

The 15-minute CD shows a masked man with an AK assault rifle reading out a statement in Urdu criticising the role of certain separatist leaders whose photographs were also displayed, informed sources said.

Spain arrests arms dealer Al Kassar on U.S. charges
Swissinfo ^ | June 08 2007 | Reuters

Posted on 06/08/2007 2:14:11 PM PDT by knighthawk

MADRID (Reuters) - Spain has arrested flamboyant Syrian-born arms dealer Monzer al-Kassar on U.S. charges of terrorism, Spain’s National Police said on Friday.

Al-Kassar has been charged by a Federal Court for the Southern District of New York with conspiring to kill Americans, supply terrorists, obtain anti-aircraft missiles and launder money, the police said.

A long-time Spanish resident known as the “Prince of Marbella” for his opulent lifestyle, al-Kassar was arrested at Madrid airport and will appear before a judge in the capital later on Friday.

Under Spanish law, the United States will have 40 days to provide documents in support of any extradition request.

No U.S. embassy spokesman was immediately available to comment on the case. Spanish police had no more details.

In 1995, Al-Kassar was acquitted by Spain’s high court of a charge of piracy in connection with the 1985 hijacking of the Italian cruise liner Achille Lauro by Palestinian guerrillas.

In 2003, the United Nations also accused him of breaking an arms embargo on Somalia. In an interview with Britain’s Guardian newspaper last year at his Marbella mansion, al-Kassar denied links to the Iraq insurgency.

United States Attorney
Southern District of New York
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

U.S. ANNOUNCES ARREST OF INTERNATIONAL ARMS DEALER

FOR CONSPIRACY TO KILL AMERICANS

AND RELATED TERRORISM CHARGES

MICHAEL J. GARCIA, the United States Attorney for the

Southern District of New York, and KAREN P. TANDY, Administrator

of the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (”DEA”),

announced today the arrest of MONZER AL KASSAR, a/k/a “Abu

Munawar,” a/k/a “El Taous,” (”KASSAR”), an international arms

dealer charged with conspiring to sell millions of dollars worth

of weapons to the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia

(the “FARC”) — a designated foreign terrorist organization — to

be used to kill Americans in Colombia. KASSAR, along with co

defendants TAREQ MOUSA AL GHAZI (”GHAZI”) and LUIS FELIPE MORENO

GODOY (”MORENO”), were arrested yesterday as they prepared to

finalize the transaction to pay for the weapons. KASSAR was

arrested on the U.S. charges by Spanish authorities in Madrid;

simultaneously GHAZI and MORENO were arrested in Romania.

According to the Indictment unsealed yesterday in Manhattan

federal court:

Since the early 1970s, KASSAR, an international weapons

trafficker, has been a ready source of weapons and military

equipment for armed factions engaged in violent conflicts around

the world. KASSAR has provided weapons and military equipment to

such factions in Nicaragua, Brazil, Cyprus, Bosnia, Croatia,

Somalia, Iran, and Iraq, among other countries. Some of these

factions have included known terrorist organizations, such as the

Palestinian Liberation Front (”PLF”), the goals of which included

attacking United States interests and United States nationals.

To carry out his weapons-trafficking business, KASSAR

developed an international network of criminal associates,

including co-defendants GHAZI and MORENO, as well as front

companies and bank accounts in various countries, including the

United Kingdom, Spain, Syria, Iraq, Poland, Bulgaria, and

Romania. Additionally, KASSAR has engaged in money-laundering

transactions in bank accounts throughout the world to disguise

the illicit nature of his criminal proceeds.

Between February 2006 and May 2007, KASSAR, GHAZI, and

MORENO agreed to sell to the FARC millions of dollars worth of

weapons –- including thousands of machine guns, millions of

rounds of ammunition, rocket-propelled grenade launchers

(”RPGs”), and surface-to-air missile systems (”SAMs”). During a

series of recorded telephone calls, emails, and in-person

meetings, KASSAR, GHAZI, and MORENO agreed to sell the weapons to

two confidential sources working with the DEA (the “CSs”), who

represented that they were acquiring these weapons for the FARC,

with the specific understanding that the weapons were to be used

to attack United States helicopters in Colombia.

During their consensually recorded meetings, KASSAR,

GHAZI, and MORENO provided the CSs with, among other things: (1)

a schematic of the vessel to be used to transport the weapons;

(2) specifications for the SAMs they agreed to sell to the FARC;

and (3) bank accounts in Spain and Lebanon that were ultimately

used to conceal more than $400,000 from DEA undercover accounts

that the CSs represented, and KASSAR, GHAZI, and MORENO believed,

were FARC drug proceeds for the weapons deal. During their

meetings with the CSs, KASSAR, GHAZI, and MORENO reviewed

Nicaraguan end-user certificates that were used to make the

weapons deal appear legitimate. KASSAR also promised to provide

the FARC with ton-quantities of C4 explosives, as well as expert

trainers from Lebanon to teach the FARC how to effectively use C4

and improvised explosive devices (commonly referred to as

“IEDs”). In addition, KASSAR offered to send a thousand men to

fight with the FARC against United States military officers in

Colombia.

The Indictment announced today charges KASSAR, GHAZI,

and MORENO with four separate terrorism offenses:

!
Count One: Conspiracy to provide material support
or resources to a designated foreign terrorist

organization, in violation of Title 18, United

States Code, Section 2339B;

!
Count Two: Conspiracy to kill United States
-2

nationals, in violation of Title 18, United States
Code, Section 2332(b);
!
Count Three: Conspiracy to kill United States
officers or employees, in violation of Title 18,
United States Code, Sections 1114 and 1117; and
!
Count Four: Conspiracy to acquire and use an anti
aircraft missile, in violation of Title 18, United
States Code, Section 2332g.
In addition, KASSAR and MORENO are charged in Count Five with

money laundering, in violation of Title 18, United States Code,

Section 1956.

If convicted of Count One, the defendants each face

maximum sentences of 15 years’ imprisonment. If convicted of

Counts Two through Four, the defendants each face maximum

sentences of life imprisonment, and a mandatory minimum sentence

of 25 years’ imprisonment for Count Four. Finally, if convicted

of Count Five, KASSAR and MORENO each face maximum sentences of

20 years’ imprisonment.

The international law enforcement operation announced

today was the result of cooperation between the United States

Drug Enforcement Administration (the “DEA”), the Spanish National

Police, and the Romanian Border Police.

Mr. GARCIA praised the investigative efforts of the

DEA, the Spanish National Police, and the Romanian Border Police,

as well as thanked the Nicaraguan National Police for their

support. Mr. GARCIA also thanked the Counterterrorism Division

of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

“MONZER AL KASSAR has long been one of the most

prolific arms dealers in the world. He has supported terrorists

and insurgents by providing them with high-powered weapons that

have fueled the most violent conflicts of the last three

decades,” said U.S. Attorney MICHAEL J. GARCIA. “Today, KASSAR

and two of his criminal associates face charges for agreeing to

arm a terrorist organization whose aim it was to kill American

citizens.”

“MONZER AL KASSAR commands a global munitions empire,

arming and funding insurgents and terrorists across the globe,

particularly those who wish to harm Americans,” said DEA

Administrator KAREN P. TANDY. “He operates in the shadows, the

-3

silent partner behind the business of death and terror. KASSAR’s

capture is a testament to DEA’s unique investigative skills and

broad reach of its international intelligence network.”

Assistant United States Attorneys BOYD M. JOHNSON III,

LESLIE C. BROWN, and BRENDAN R. McGUIRE are in charge of the

prosecutions.

The charges contained in the Indictment are merely

accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and

until proven guilty.

Warden Message: Turkey Insecurity Uptick

“U.S. Embassy Ankara released the following Warden Message on June 8:

This Warden Message is being sent to alert U.S. citizens to the continuing potential for terrorist actions against civilians in Turkey and notes recent incidents in Ankara and Izmir, as well as the Southeast. U.S. citizens should continue to maintain a high level of vigilance as a matter of routine.

Facilities such as shopping centers, public markets, hotels, clubs, restaurants, places of worship, schools, and outdoor recreation events and resorts are potential targets both for demonstrations and for attacks by terrorist groups. U.S. citizens should remain in a heightened state of personal security awareness when attendance at such locations is unavoidable. Furthermore, U.S. citizens should be vigilant when using public transportation in Turkey, as these networks have been targeted in the past.

The U.S. Embassy also advises U.S. citizens traveling or residing in Turkey to be alert to the potential for violence, to avoid those areas where disturbances have occurred, and to avoid demonstrations and large gatherings. Even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and possibly escalate into violence. American citizens are therefore urged to avoid the areas of demonstrations if possible, and to exercise caution if within the vicinity of any demonstrations.”

3 alleged Islamic extremists arrested in southern Serbia
June 7, 2007

BELGRADE, Serbia: Police arrested three suspected Islamic extremists on Thursday in a continuing crackdown in a southern region with a sizable Muslim community.

The three men — identified as Aladin Pulic, 22, Erhan Smailovic, 32 and Husein Culjak, 29 — were apprehended in the southern city of Novi Pazar, 175 kilometers (110 miles) south of Belgrade, police said. Six others were detained in the city in March, allegedly in possession illegal weapons and accused of plotting terror attacks, police said. All are believed to be followers of the extreme Wahhabi branch of Sunni Islam.

Individuals A to G At least six others here may have had knowledge of JFK plot
Thursday, June 7th 2007

At least six other Guyanese may have been directly involved or had knowledge of the plot to blow up pipelines and fuel storage tanks at the John F Kennedy International Airport, according to the US complaint which named the four defendants currently facing the conspiracy charges. The document however does not name the other individuals but simply refers to them as Individuals A, B, C, E, F and G, while the nationality of another presumed partner in the plot, Individual D was also not disclosed.

Those individuals, the US government informant and Defreitas met collectively and separately at other times during a visit to Guyana in mid August where the two stayed for an extended period, according to the document. The document also stated too that E, which it suggests is a businessman with a business somewhere in Georgetown, had told the informant during a conversation that he helped 'brothers' who have a basic knowledge of Islam to perform Jihad (holy war). "He said that he takes care of the individuals basic needs while they are performing their jihad duties," the document stated. E also suggested that A should get involved in teaching Islam so that he could select serious individuals who were right for Jihad.

It was individual A, the document said, who asked the US informant on or about September 10 lat year if we wanted to die as a martyr and in response the informant answered that this was the greatest way to die in Islam. Individual A and Individual C had told the informant too that the three of them would travel to Trinidad to discuss the plan with a fourth person (Individual D) whose nationality was not disclosed.

However the document stated that A had told E that they were working on two plans: one to smuggle individuals, including mujahideen, from Asia into Guyana and then into the United States and a second to attack the United States where it would inflict the most harm. Several meetings were supposedly held at the business owned by E and at one such meeting E, the document stated, described an occasion when he had seen U.S. helicopters parked at the Guyanese airport for an air show and considered blowing them up.

"Individual A replied that he (A) was not the only one with those thoughts. At that point E also said that he was close friends with a leader of the Trinidadian Muslim group Jamaat al Muslimeen," the document stated. At that same meeting too A informed E about the details of the planned attack and explained that the plan involved exploding the fuel line that fed fuel to JFK airport. E agreed to take part in the plan but cautioned other partners to avoid talking about it over the telephone or to anyone not directly involved.

The US complaint said that over a two-week period while Defreitas and the informant were here in Guyana they met E, A and C on several occasions to discuss the planned attack. `A' suggested that Defreitas and the informant return to JFK to conduct surveillance at JFK to determine what kind of explosive device would be appropriate for the plan. The document suggested that after Defreitas and the informant returned to New York, E and A continued to meet here regarding the plot and gave the informant telephonic updates. The document quoting Defreitas in a telephone conversation about E's intentions said, "E really wants to get this things going. He's very sincere about it … So he really want [s] to get it done but he want to get it done the right way … that we don't want to regret starting something that we can't finish."

Surveillance conducted by Defreitas and the US informant of the airport was being fed reliably to E and in a conversation Defreitas told E that he had seen Pat Robertson on television predicting that a disaster would hit America and that a tsunami would hit several states. Defreitas stated, "So he's probably not too far off, huh?" and Individual E laughed. The US complaint stated too that Defreitas had described how he had been waiting several years for the right opportunity to execute his plans. According to Defreitas he had been considering this "from the time I worked in the airport, before terrorism started in this country ..." The document further stated that he explained too that when he worked at the airport, "these things used to come into my brain - well, I could blow this place up. When I was… I would make a bomb …. I could knock this place... I ain't getting nothing for it... So I would just wipe it out my head and then I would go some place again and I would see the same thing…"

When Defreitas and the informant returned to Guyana on or before January 14 this year bringing with them videos they had taken of JFK they played the videos for Individual E and A. E had stated that he was pleased that they could use dynamite to blow up the fuel tanks. On January 22 this year the informant met with individual E and discussed how E could obtain explosives for the plot.

E and A, the document stated, became increasingly suspicious that C was a spy and so A told the informant that he would not travel to Trinidad because of these suspicions. It said too that around February 13 Individual E, Defreitas and the informant engaged in a heated argument in part because the informant had removed the JFK video from E's computer. "Individual E initially said that he wanted to delay the plot for a few months so that he could focus on his business, and then stated that he wanted to cut off his involvement altogether.

Following what seemed as a pull-out by this participant Defreitas, the document said, was determined to get to Trinidad to present the JFK plot to the JAM leader and he then contacted several associates in Guyana including another individual - Individual F. On or before February 18 Defreitas and the informant met with F and informed him of the JFK plot and his desire to discuss it with the JAM leader and F was subsequently shown the JFK video. This is when former opposition member of parliament Abdul Kadir was identified by F as his associate and who F said may have been interested in the plot. So on or about February 19, Defreitas, F and the informant travelled to Linden to meet with Kadir who was shown the plan and Kadir allegedly expressed interest.
