BUSH CHIDES FELLOW REPUBS FOR OPPOSING HIS FLAKEY AMNESTY DEAL

BUSH CHIDES FELLOW REPUBS FOR OPPOSING HIS FLAKEY AMNESTY DEAL

When your plumbing springs a leak, the first thing anyone with an IQ higher than a clam does is turn off the water—that’s why it’s so hard for our good citizens to understand why President Bush doesn’t secure our borders and ports first instead of submitting promises and a repeat of the failed 1986 amnesty.

The amnesty deal Bush negotiated with Democrats and ‘open border’ Republicans will turn the U.S. into another Venezuela. Consider that the number of illegal aliens within our shores is not precisely known; most estimates range anywhere from 12 to 20 million. Unfortunately these are only ‘guesstimates’ no one actually knows how many there are. Some claim it could be 30 million or higher. If each amnestied illegal only brings in four relatives, our population will increase anywhere from 48 to 120 million and perhaps more.

Bush’s open ended amnesty welcomes anyone who can provide a piece of paper that they arrived in the U.S. before 1 January. People from all over the world will be knocking on our door and if no one answers they will sneak in. There is no limit on the number of illegal aliens who will be amnestied nor are there severe penalties for fraud.

Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice, shame on me! Only a fool repeats his mistakes but President Bush and Senators Kennedy and McCain are leading the charge to repeat the mistakes of the 1986 amnesty. The 1986 bill directly led to the estimated 12-30 million illegal aliens that are within our borders today.

Lies, more lies and damned lies. Despite assurances from Senator Kennedy that the 1986 amnesty would stop illegal immigration; the 1986 bill encouraged millions to enter the country illegally in the hope of future amnesties. In 1986, voters were assured that amnesty was a one time occurrence that would never be repeated. Is it any wonder that Americans can’t trust their politicians?

"To someone actually listening to what the candidates say, a vote for Bush has always been a pro-amnesty vote. He never changed his position."

He may always have been "pro-amnesty," but he pretended to care about enforcing our immigration laws and defending our sovereignty. Those of us who voted for him HAD NO IDEA he would be hell-bent on selling us out to Mexico, Soros, and Ted Kennedy, despite the opinion of the majority of citizens and our fervent (and completely rational) opposition.

I, for one, thought that he was really a patriotic American who would abide by his constitutional oath. He put on a good act.

Correct! Boy, what I wouldn’t give to see the photos the Mexican government has of young Georgie during one of his “Mexican vacations”, they must be terrific!

He knows he is a lame duck and can now cut the throats of all repubs.....just like his dad. Nothing to see here. Move along.

He isn’t even considering what it will do to the next election chances of any repub.

If Cheney is against this illegal alien amnesty, I’d prefer his resignation, not his silence.

Well put. If Bush were honest about his intentions, he should have run for presidente of Mexico, but that would have made it hard to turn America into Mexica. Bush revealed the real politician with the Harriet Myers fiasco and it has only gotten more obvious that he has no respect for the conservative base that elected him. As you point out, he doesn’t worry about American jobs, neighborhoods, or money, he just wants to give it all away to those he really loves, Third world illegals. He will turn America into Venezuela with his Amnesty, as Ann Coulter said in a recent column.

""Sometimes my dear husband acts like a jerk too, but I'm not going to divorce him over it regardless what it's about."

Being a jerk is one thing. But being disloyal, unfaithful and betraying your trust is another.

That's grounds for d-i-v-o-r-c-e, IMHO.

Unfortunately, the President never intended other than dupe us on immigration. Otherwise, the borders would have been shut down years ago. I thought we were at war?...

“We are reaching the point that we can no longer grow enough food to feed our own population.”

BS. We can grow all the food we need right here.

The fact is it’s more profitable to import food from China and sell it at the same price as food grown here.

That explains it all.

Damn your eyes!

How dare you insinuate that we were seduced by George Bush into voting for him because he would abandon our borders?

Dear President Bush,

No, absolutely no illegal immigration.

You and the rest of the pro-illegal types haven't given us _one_ actual reason to do this. If there's a reason, other than hidden amnesty and special priviledges, you're going to have to come clean and explain why this must be done.

It would be a valid reason to state that US(a) is completely bankrupt and the powerful banks demand we do this or else they're going to call the loans. Give us the truth! or the answer is a huge no.

The headline is not quite right. It should read:

Seriously, this is the time - NOW, after pets have died and anti-freeze was found in toothpaste - for us to STOP trade with China!

As for healthy food, I recommend organic and without preservatives or hormones.

It’s also hard to remain married to someone who is having an affair with a person he loves more than you, after having taken an oath to forsake all others. Mr. Bush swore on the Bible that he would uphold the Constitution, which includes defending this country from all enemies. The bottom line is that he cares more about the criminal lawbreakers than us, the ones he has sworn to protect. He knows very well that that is his job, as he used that rationale to establish the Department of Homeland Security and has been reminding us all of his duty ever since. He is choosing to break his oath and cheat on us. Why? We have been loyal and tolerant of his failings, and as a reward he has betrayed us.

Flood his email, flood his telephone booth, and go to NumbersUSA to fax free Senators. Keeping the pressure on these fools may , may at least encourage the GOP in the House to amend this bill to death.
