Egad..you ask hard questions!
How are you this beautiful evening?
I am watching 24! :D
Assuming you sleep horizontally, at night, this is true.
Your backbones stretch out at night.
As you walk around or sit all day, good old gravity squishes them together.
1. George Washington did indeed wear dentures made of wood...cherrywood...but that was just coincidence. Because he really didn't chop down a cherry tree. Those didn't show up in the DC area until nearly 50 years after his death.
2. If a shark stops swimming, it will not necessarily sink to the bottom of the ocean. It will, however, suffocate. Sharks need streams of water moving constantly across their gills to 'breathe'.
3. You may be taller in the morning, but that's not natural.
4. The Great Wall of China is definitely visible to the naked eye from outer space. But make sure your eye is the only thing that's naked, because Mission Control in Houston has hidden cameras on board.
5. Apple seeds do contain cyanide. Just ask Johnny Appleseed. Oh, wait. You can't. He's dead. See what I mean?
Okay, Nana said that dinner is ready. Be back to answer the rest shortly!!

READ: John 4:27-36
Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. John 4:29
How do bees lead one another to nectar? Scientists say its all about the waggle dance. The theory was regarded with skepticism when it was first proposed by Nobel Prize-winning zoologist Karl von Frisch in the 1960s. But now, researchers in the United Kingdom have used tiny radar responders attached to worker bees to support von Frischs theory. Theyve confirmed that the bee orients its body toward the food source and uses the intensity of its waggle dance to signal the distance to other bees.
The woman who met Jesus at Jacobs well also found a way to lead the rest of her community to what she had foundliving water (John 4:10). They were drawn to discover why this woman with five ex-husbands and a current live-in was saying, Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did (v.29).
As the crowd was on its way, the One who on other occasions had called Himself the bread of life (6:48) was telling His disciples that His food was found in doing the will of God (4:32,34).
Jesus is living water and food for our soul. Joining Him to do the will of God and finish the work He has given us to do is the ultimate source of nourishment.
The "Silent Valveless Water Waste Preventer" (No. 814) was a siphonic discharge system that allowed a toilet to flush effectively when the cistern was only half full. British Patent 4990 for 1819 was issued to a Mr. Albert Giblin for this product.

1. George Washington wore dentures made of wood.
False. They were ivory.
2. If a shark stops swimming, it will sink to the bottom of the ocean.
True. Sharks don't have swim bladders.
3. You are taller in the morning.
True. Lighter also.
4. The Great Wall of China is visible to the naked eye from outer space.
True, along with many other man-made structures. However, it is not visible from the Moon.
5. Apple seeds contain cyanide.
False, although true for peach pits.
Round 2 ~ A LITTLE harder
1. Short hair grows faster than long hair.
False. Old wives' tale. If you believe that, you probably also believe your fingernails keep growing after you die.
2. All pine trees are evergreen.
False. The larch and the hemlock are counter-examples.
3. Walt Disney was cryogenically frozen after he died.
False.
4. Some fish walk on land.
True.
5. A man named Thomas Crapper invented the toilet.
Patently false.
Round 2 ~ A LITTLE harder
1. Short hair does grow faster than long hair...just ask MA! Seems like she gets her hair cut short every two weeks! (So does Nana - drives me nuts, I wish she'd let it grow out! LOL!!)
2. All pine trees are evergreen. True, but not all evergreens are pines. I've heard that Holly is an evergreen, and I understand you're not pining for Holly lately...
3. Walt Disney was cryogenically frozen after he died. This is true, contrary to what some cultists say, Walt Disney's family waited until after his demise to freeze him.
4. Some fish walk on land, some fish fly through the air, but most fish are content to swim in the sea. Unlike fishermen, who are only content telling tall tales about fishes.
5. A man named Thomas Crapper invented the toilet. I don't think this is true. I mean, imagine...if humankind waited for Thomas Crapper to invent the toilet...I mean, what a mess!!
Okay, now I need to go help with the dishes. Then we'll see what the bonus round has in store!
Watch out, everyone. That's a sucker's game to play!
By the way, "Cool Runnings" with John Candy, about the Jamaican bobsled team-mon, is probably one of the best sports movies ever made. Sadly, it has little to do with the reality of how they made it to the Olympics that year, other than the finish. But it's a fun time to give your spirits a lift.
