Well...after all this story may interfer with the polling info. for 2008 Dumbocrat candidates...you know...Bush’s fault...trying to sway voters with actual U.S. Foiled Terror Plans....meanwhile the Dems are worrying about who they can hire to put a new spin on their campaign...or what hairdresser to hire to give them a $300 haircut.

You might be surprised how soft Fort Dix, NEW JERSEY is. Thanks to the state and the Army, there probably wouldn’t have been a single armed soldier outside the cop shop. Just like Virginia Tech.

They may have killed some soldiers in the initial surprise, but..... Actually, poetic justice would be for them to keep these thugs under surveillance, quietly replace the guards at the gate of Fort Dix with Special Forces and let them know about the plot. When the thugs show up to do their deed let the Special Forces guys have a field day. What a great way to set an example for every would-be thug who has thoughts of attacking a US military installation.....

I doubt it. From what it sounds like on the radio, I think this was a Federal Operation. They have scheduled a briefing with NJ Officials later this morning to ‘clue them in’.
I don’t think NJ will have authority to give them staff positions at the Governor’s mansion (being sarcastic)

Military bases are soft targets. Didn't you know they're guarded by deserters, drug abusers and pot-bellied rent-a-cops? /sarc Hee, hee! Last spring I was driving past Edwards Air Force Base and decided I wanted to visit the flight test museum. As I drove up to the gate I saw a lot of motion up ahead. There's nothing quite like the feeling of an M16 pointed in your direction! Needless to say things have changed since 9/11. The only way to visit the flight test museum now is if you have military id...kind of a shame since I'm a big airplane nut. I've been to the Air and Space Museum and the Air Force Museum in Dayton twice, and would have loved to add that one to my "been there" list.
