The Newsroom at CBS 13 in Sacramento, CA is monitoring the Rush Limbaugh show today. They may be somewhat concerned.
CBS, as you recall, is the network that promoted phony National Guard documents to try to influence a presidential election.
I just spoke to the newsdesk in Sacramento. They are aware that Limbaugh has been talking about them today and giving warnings that they had better remove a video about "Barack the Magic Negro" that someone put on YouTube. Limbaugh had nothing to do with the production.
CBS 13 has a poll underway asking if Limbaugh's parody is racist. They did a 2-part series about it and are trying to cause some controversy.
The woman at the newsdesk has been informed that the term "Barack the Magic Negro" did not originate with Limbaugh. It originated with the leftist Los Angeles Times. According to her, they are "taking everything into consideration and dealing with the Limbaugh 'Magic Negro' situation."
The press is often allowed to get away with this nonsense because some people are powerless to stop it. They took on the wrong guy this time.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think they were Rush’s words to begin with. He was parroting some reporter or interviewer I think.
I let them know that he didn’t use the word, but the warnings on his show are going to result in them being sued if the video isn’t removed and the record corrected. The last I checked on their poll, 97% say it isn’t racist. That probably surprises them.
Call the lawyers!!!"

If that if the standard - ANYTHING a conservative says will be used by liberals to say they are racists, homophobic, etc. Limbaugh is suing the liberals own words against them...
Just voted in the CBS poll, and the results for “Is the Rush Limbaugh song racist?” are: No - 97%, Yes - 3%. I hope this blows up in their faces hard, and I hope it immediately discredits those leftist censors at MediaMatters and their founder, the world’s biggest backstabbing, opportunistic weasel, David Brock. If they can smear and silence someone for airing a piece of obvious political satire, then we might as well just burn the First Amendment and get it over with.
And Rush, for his part, targeted these very people.
Let us hope they WERE listening.
Al Sharpton, and the LA Times, are the ones who are saying these things.
Not Rushbo.
you missed the whole point- he merely REPORTED what a LIBERAL news organization produced.
The LA TIMES made it.
Ooooo this is gonna be good. when they realize their mistake will they say “oops -never mind”
“CBS Latella”
I just sent an email to Drudge ... this could get interesting.
Excellent.
There’s another key difference: Limbaugh’s program is syndicated. Imus got bounced from the only radio station that carried his program. Limbaugh is much more immune to this kind of threat.
Looks like CBS 13 is about to get burned due to a serious lack of keeping up with the news. Rush is too sharp for these slower minds. A full house beats a pair so these folks need to fold quickly.
He’s talking about us.
Rush is reading this NOW!
You couldn’t be more wrong.
Yes, as another person already said, you look extremely foolish, as foolish as the CBS 13 crew, with your post.
Drive by tries to Imus Rush
Drive by goes down.
Rush is right now mentioning Free Republic and this issue.
Rush is talking about it right now! Mentioned this thread!!!
How cool. Rush talking about this story.
