“Who cares about France?”
I do. Despite it’s problems and current politics, France is (or was) a great country and culture. France is part of Western civilization and Western civilization (of which the USA is a part) must stick together against the Islamofascist terrorist war against America, Israel, the Jews and all of Western and Anglo civilization.
Sure, there are many things to dislike about parts of French life and politics, etc., but overall they have added much to world culture. And all Frenchmen are not “cheese eating surrender monkeys”. There are some tough French military.
I admit, much of Europe and the UK are disappointing today, but it’s not over quite yet.
America and the world need Europe and it’s culture and contributions to a more rational world civilization.
We must stick together against Islamofascism and it’s backwards, primitive, barbaric and savage culture, beliefs, behavior, religion and plans for a world caliphate.

I want France to be saved. I have a great uncle and a great great uncle buried there from the last two times we had to liberate them from oppression - I would like to avoid things getting to where I end up with a nephew buried there.

I agree, although I love to joke about the French in my classes. We should NEVER give up on any of these European countries, as we owe some of our heritage to virtually all of them.
Let's see if he stands up to the Muslim nutballs and the unions. I know, no one can do it all, overnight, but I'd welcome a start.
