Ever since that late morning is Dealey Plaza Dallas Texas, November 22nd 1963, the soul of America has been tortured by lingering doubts about the official version of the murder of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The Chief Justice Earl Warren was appointed by Lyndon Baines Johnson to head the official investigation, the Warren Commission. After reviewing all the evidence, the Commission's final report named Lee Harvey Oswald as the lone gunman responsible.
In 1966, the book, Six Seconds in Dallas, raised important questions pointing to evidence which indicated that there was more than one shooter. More than one shooter would indicate a conspiracy, so the next question would be "Who else was involved"...

What people don’t understand is the effect projectiles traveling at those speeds have on body fluids and tissue. When you consider the human skull is really nothing more than a pressurized thin walled vessel, composed mostly of fluid. When hit by a high velocity projectile, the hydraulic reaction of the body fluid is more like a water balloon or soda can exploding, with most of the fluid and tissue exiting in a variety of directions including back towards the shooter. We shot several cantaloupes with 30-06 using ball ammo. The results were very dramatic explosions, with about 20% of the material being blown back towards the shooter.

LOL...I was also in the 6th grade when Kennedy was assasinated. And I also distinctly remember standing in line waiting to be dismissed to walk home, and we also were all talking about whether or not LBJ had something to do with it. Interesting.
But why wouldn't Specter bring up the difference in heights as to why Connolly's wounds were where they were?
(I was 5 at the time, but I remember glancing through my parents' copy of The Warren Report years later.)
Sister Elizabeth Ann announced it over the P.A that Friday afternoon. All the little girls were screaming. Then we all went to the cafeteria/church and said some prayers before the sent us home. Everybody was glued to their B&W TVs all weekend. My Dad saw Lee Harvey Oswald get shot by Jack Ruby in real time. I had just walked out of the room!

There is overwhelming information supporting a conspiracy in the JFK Assassination that has come out in the last 10 years.
Just a few are the book ‘Regicide’ which names the 20 or so conspirators from a gov conference record.
There is the friend of Oswald who spent the summer of 63 in New Orleans with him. It explains in detail about him, and his associates.
There is the History Channel 2003 segments on the Limo being flown to Detroit and the windshield being replaced because it had a frontal bullet hole in it.
Also HC covered LBJ’s scandal that was going to break the next week after the assassination, and his involvement in the JFK assassination.
There is a book out with new info that shows Garrison was right in his theories.
The information supporting conspiracy is endless.

Most people when they discuss the Kennedy Assassination discuss with knowledge from 20-30 years ago, they’re not up to date.
Even the gov came to the conclusion JFK was probably a conspiracy, the books I mentioned are on Amazon with reviews

BTW, the middle photo I posted clearly has the back seat in that limo raised higher than was the case in the limo JFK and Connolly were riding in.

I remember seeing Oswald shot by Ruby. I had not just left the room. Maybe that’s where I got my obsessive habit of gluing myself to the tv whenever something monumental happens.
If it was an LBJ powergrab, why didn’t he run for a second term?

I can only speak from my own reaction. All the things you mention are horrible, but, sadly, they have become almost commonplace. At that time, it was such a shocking thing for us to believe that the President could be shot. It was the end of innocence. It wasn’t that it was HIM, just that such a thing could happen in our then secure little world.
