Go watch the youtube video of the 94 debate. See if you don’t think Romney was totally pro choice then.
KLO and the corner are right. He lied.

“impressed with Jim Gilmore. He sounded like the most balanced conservative on the stage tonight. JMO”
He’s my sleeper pick for VP for Fred Thompson lol, but Romney was impressive tonight in the debate. He may be the frontrunner by the time Thompson gets in...People are going to be amazed how quickly these polls change (sorry RuddyBoosters)

Romney won, but Gilmore was my favorite.
I think two things stood out on the downside.
McCain came across programmed and Rooty came across uninspiring. For a mavarick Pubbie and a high energy liberal, respectively, not a good outcome for either man.

How does Paul get such a high number?Paul has a following, much of it on the left. The Wonkette even likes him.

You are right, what I did not like is the fact that the candidates let him with almost no rebuttal. That’s shows me how spineless with very few exceptions republicans are.The moderator asked a question mentioning the vast corruption in the Bush administration ,and no one defended the President. How can we accomplish anything as a party, with gutless representation?Sorry but I find that just appalling, the Dem's would never remain silence.
To: CounterCounterCulture
What a debate joke. Could have been one and only one question asked: How do we change all the evil that Republicans have done to America and the world???

Alan Keyes clearly won this debate!
Who’s your preferred candidate among the 10 present?

I was impressed with Jim Gilmore. The guy who thinks it's okay to kill babes in the womb, if they're young enough.

I think youll find your perspective is quite different from reality come the general election, if one of those three is selected. My perspective is in focus. Sitting on your arse waiting for whackjobs to find ways to inflcit maximum damage on your fellow countrymen is a left wing nut position. I don't like Rudy but he and President Bush are exactly right. Good offense is exponentially better than good defense.

If we secured the country from illegals, we have nothing to be afraid of. Iranians can play in the sand all they want. They have no navy, no air force and no military. What makes so terrified?Gee, I dunno. 9-11 was carried off with cash, box cutters, fake bombs and a desire to die for the cause. No air force needed to take down our financial center and hit our military command center.

Mitt had a pound of Crisco in his hair and even I have a better dye job in my hair.
He is such a phony. How on earth is it so hard not to see what a fake he is?
He has ZERO foreign policy experience. `0~, good Corner office on a high floor type of guy, but President? No way.

Thanks! You were right. I was referring to embryonic. I support adult fully, but I am opposed to embryonic. Do you know which candidates opposed embryonic? Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think McCain and Rudy were the only ones that ok's embryonic and federal funding.

Given the pacing of the debate at that point — hyper kinetic, no spaghetti stuck to my frontal lobe on that particular issue.

Brit Hume would be great for our next debate. He would be lethal for their next debate.
To: Reagan Man
I agree that Jim Gilmore did great tonight!
