Do you know which candidate said we should err on the side of life, when talking about Terri?

Mitt Romney was clearly well above the others tonight. Agreed, and Hunter did better than I thought he would.

“He said he would eliminate taxes on manufacturers choosing to stay here instead of overseas. Right now we subsidize them to leave. Do you think thats better?”
False dichotomy. How about we eliminate unconstitutional taxes and government spending, period, and then we won’t have to worry about them leaving? His answer was a typical ‘let’s tinker with taxes to do good’ Congressman’s answer, and he lost my vote tonight.

Mitt answers questions about liberals like Freepers, hence his popularity on this thread.
To: NeoCaveman
Really? Were we watching the same debate? I thought he did awful.
I doubt very many would share your opinion.

MSNBC goes to Keith Olberman for debate analysis? Dear Lord! No wonder it’s the most unwatched news channel!

Biggest Loser was the sneering slob Matthews. I bet he couldn't wait to flee from a room full of Republicans. The Republicans should have booted him out before he even walked in the door.
Did the candidates even know where the camera was? It seemed they were talking to Mushball rather than to the audience.
To: Mr. Blonde
I don’t agree but that’s fine.

Ron Paul came across as the cranky next door neighbor or the senile old uncle. He is a joke.

I will refer to it as the Shindler case (was that the movie the Shindler case?) and will NEVER refer to her as Schiavo again.
Most on FR supported her Right to Life. YOU are in the minority here.

Remaining:
Hunter
Romney
Gilmore
Huckabee I agree completely. And I'd add Fred Thompson to the mix.
To: sageb1
Well, Romney KINDA did when he quipped, “You’ve GOT to be kidding!”
I’m still chuckling over that one.
To: kidd
I agree with your analysis. You picked my top 3 - Brownback, Hunter and Romney with Mitt looking best in overall Presidential category. Brownback was awesome also. I’m thinking Mitt / Brownback would make a good combo.

Her maiden name was Schindler - which is her preferred name to use now. We want to forget she was ever a ‘schiavo”.

That was Duncan Hunter.
