(I like Duncan Hunter for President in 2008!)
To: George W. Bush
Quick switch, it’s that oddball guy.
Pretty good trick by Newt, getting to do “debate coverage” on Fox. He can talk about anything they said, shape the debate, and he’s considering being a candidate? Who at Fox thought that was a good idea?

Winners: Hunter, Romney, Huckabee
Losers: Rudy, Tancredo, Thompson, Paul

Gingrich just a few seconds ago said on Fox that it shouldn’t have had moderators.
Chris Matthews was the worst choice for this. It was hardball, not a decent debate.
To: CounterCounterCulture
I hope I never have to see another debate with Chris Matthews in charge. It ticked me off to no end that several times he said, ‘Let’s go down the line’ then, he stopped before he was even halfway down the line and didn’t let everyone answer the questions.

Whoever we pick is going to be faced with lefty media way more than we wish. We need to learn who can do well is such an environment. This is, alas, an important test.
I agree but how about someone who's on our (Republican) side for the next debate?

Embrace and savor the Romney answer about the three because I doubt you will see it in the MSM. It was the best answer in the entire debate.Romney was very strong tonight. Hunter and Tancredo as well. Rudy pooched it big time....
To: Constitution1st
I liked almost everything about Tancredo .. he was the most solidly conservative candidate on stage.

Of course. The media masters have to tell the American people that they didn’t see what they just saw.
Chrissy will have to explain to us ign’ant peasants what the Republicans REALLY meant.

McCain was HORRIBLE on the Iraq War and he claims he would veto big spending bills - yet he is in the Congres from which these big spending bills come! Was he EVER on the Senate floor and working in the backrooms to get his colleagues to stop their pork barrel bills?? I don't think so.
The only good thing Guiliani did was remind the COUNTRY that we have not been hit by terrorists since 911 BECAUSE of President Bush's aggressive response to that attack - best answer when Chrissy was wanting them all to bash Bush for him and his demoniac friends.

I wish someone had said, “Bill Clinton sullied the Oval Office and denigrated the Presidency. I wouldn’t let the guy in the door again.”

>>Ron Paul may not be as slick as Romney, but his answers were dead on. He is the only GOP candidate in favor of limiting the size of government.<<
Actually, Romney shrunk the size of the government in Mass when he was governor. That partly explains how they went from a 3-billion dollar deficit to a 1-billion surplus.
To: alicewonders
I agree. It was better than I expected—a big win for Romney and Hunter....and a big loss for McCain and Guiliani.
