The True Color of Democrat Grey

It is truly sad, but undeniable that major elections in this country are decided by the most uninformed and indecisive 10-15% of us. The folks who are swayed by commercials, celebrity name status, or even the best looking, most well versed candidate, are currently deciding the future of our country. By successfully convincing these folks of the presence of non-existent grey areas, the Democrats recently gained significant political control of our country.

Unfortunately, perception alone plays a large role of getting elected in today's political environment. True beliefs and positions on key issues mean little to the liberal Democrat running for office, unless he/she is having problems concealing them. Its all about how well they can play to the incoherent “hey, I've heard of him” voter. This is why modern day liberals will campaign disguised as moderate conservatives, in order to get elected. Claiming to find some previously unheard of “middle ground” on issues where no such thing could possibly exist has become an art form of the left Simply listening to campaign ads and speeches, even partially informed folks will have to do some serious reading between the lines to find out where the Dems actually stand these days.

Regarding their undying support for abortion, some of the new and improved Democratic tag lines are; “I'm against abortion, but do not believe in imposing my morality on others”, or “I believe abortion should be available, safe, and RARE”, etc..... All intellectually ridiculous to those with an IQ over 85, but to some this actually makes Democrats seem “anti-abortion”.

As far as the Iraq war, the Democrats campaign saying they really do “support the troops”, and then simply pour any and all of their disagreements onto our lying, Halliburton loving President. Once again, how you can support the troops and then decry the immorality of their day to day mission is intellectual dishonesty at its very best.

With the elections long gone and the power shift in effect, do not lose heart, because there is a silver lining here. Now that the liberals are in control of Congress, we are finally seeing their true agenda. And they are making no efforts to cover it up to anyone.

On the subject of abortion, true conservatives know that there is no “right” the liberals will fight with more fury to invent, support, and protect. Abortion is the “Alamo of the left”, being that it is the ONLY thing they will fight to the death to protect. It has been driving pro-lifers insane that liberals have seemingly been able to convince so many that there can be a “middle ground” taken on this issue. After all, keeping the status quo on abortion means human beings keep dying.

As the Supreme Court came out last week solidifying the ban on the abhorrent procedure of partial birth abortion, surely every one of these new and improved “anti-abortion” liberal politicians would agree. Wrong; Every single Democratic candidate for president in '08 condemned the ruling. Their loyalty to the powerful abortion industry in this country trumps any false front they put on regarding the issue, and this forced them to make that fact VERY public.

Regarding the war, they are not only working tirelessly to cut off funding to troops in the field, but are making complete treasonous fools of themselves by engaging in diplomatic relations with our enemies. As if that is not enough, they have most recently decided to come out publicly and declare the enemy victorious and label us losers in a war our soldiers are currently still fighting. From a political suicide point of view, one would think Karl Rove is making their foreign policy for them.

So let us hope that these blatant demonstrations of true allegiance are finding their way home to those who put these people in power. Yes, our country will suffer through the next year or so, but hopefully if a real conservative candidate ever does appear and run for President in '08, these newly enlightened folks will finally check the right box.

These hypocrites and assclowns will pimp their own mothers if it'll buy them the next election. If you have any doubt where Democrat one-party rule will take us, look at the Peoples Republic of Maryland and their recently passed law restoring voting priviledges to convicted felons. Even repeat felons are enfranchised on the day of their release. I'm sure the MD demokrat party has already planned to set up permanent voter registration tables at all the State prisons exits .
