Billing his campaign fund is a way to dodge income taxes on the $400, or rather a way to pay for them with money he didn’t have to pay income and SS taxes on.
Of course he can do this, but the little people he claims to be the champion of don’t have control of millions in money for which there are no tax consequences for the people who spend it. Campaign contributions are not tax exempt to the giver, so the giver has already paid all the taxes.
The hypocrisy makes me sick.

I heard that was Edwards’s SECOND $400 haircut.
It would seem he is embarrassed because #2 made the news.
Of course, that could be because he initially paid for the haircut out of campaign funds.
[Were campaign funds used to pay for haircut #1?]

The guy is obsessed with his hair. Remember the video of him “primping” (that is pRimp, with an “R”... just for clarity’s sake) before a TV appearance?

I just got a haircut today, and I gave my barber 20 bucks, which included the tip.
Wow, 400 dollars for a haircut. What does the Breck Girl’s “stylist” spray on his hair, liquid gold?

Makes one wonder who would be a worse president: Breckgirl or Rudy-in-a-dress.

And he's not being wholly forthcoming, either. Edwards has also had a $225 haircut at the Pink Saphire in New Hampshire.

John Kerry paid $1,000 for a haircut back in 2004, so Edwards is actually saving money.

And the 29,000 sq. foot house is not an embarrassment?
The man is a fraud! But then we all knew that from the start.

Think about it folks....
With Edwards, the primping girlie Breck Girl —— maybe a real “blow while drying” haircut was involved for $400.

Hopefully Ill have enough sense not to do that again. LOL... Sounds just like that clip of Al Gore saying he'll have to inform himself.

Its a ridiculous amount of money for a haircut, Edwards told reporters after a campaign stop on Adels town square. Im actually embarrassed by it. This guy had to come to where I was to get a haircut. I knew itd be expensive. I didnt know it would be that expensive. Hopefully Ill have enough sense not to do that again. I can believe this...but it says quite a bit about his character if it took a massive amount of negative publicity to arrive at the point where he is embarrassed. And it doesn't change that he's an anti-Christian bigot...so I don't know how much traction he's going to get from admitting his embarrassment.

A $400 haircut should come with a happy ending. Looks like this one didn’t.

Finally, something that embarrasses a Democrat, and it's a haircut?

Cheapskate takes his wife to Wendy’s on his anniversary but pays $400.00 for a haircut. Wonder if the tip was included.

Can you believe that? The man is a millionaire, if he wants a $400.00 dollar hair cut who cares, but he billed his campaign for it, how tacky is that?? I kinda feel like if I’m donating to someone’s campaign that does not mean I’m financing their personal hygene, sheeesh. Tacky.

Yep, what he is really embarrassed with is billing his campaign for $800 for haircuts, and getting caught.

Oh, my gosh! Has he NO shame?? What does he mean, he won’t do it again. He’s already done it twice, and doing it a second time, there’s NO way he’ll EVER convince me he didn’t know it was going to be so expensive, again. What an arrogant jerk!
