Just heard anchorette report this on pMSNBC
NBC news on NOW
You asked — “When did they receive them??”
Just today, according to the news... It was delayed because the zip code was wrong.

But why send them to
NBC, why not youTube
for the world to see?!
NBC News:
Return addy included the word ‘Ismail’.
Hey I’ve played cs and currently play halo2.
The games are great. As an attorney I can say that the games help with the competitive spirit and prepare you to engage your opponent whether it be argument or sports or whatever. And I hear that CS was used by the British to help train their military.
Anyway, the games don’t send you over the edge... by any means.
Funny thing though is that the Ismail Ax seemed like it might be a gamer tag especially given its location on his arm and the color red. Bungie has listed a gamer that goes by Ismail K and other variations of same. Many of his posts were banned or deleted at the bungie site. One of his posts references Ax and Red and talks about murder... kinda creepy though the connection is highly tenuous and the murder is merely mentioned (no claim of intent or deed by Ismail here) ... still .....
Anyway, probably a coincidence but Ismail K, if you happen to read this post, then two things: One, since you are not dead, you are not the guy. Two, expect hightened scrutiny by feds or whoever and also don’t be surprised by Bungie telling you that your handle is unacceptable.... lol, or don’t be surprised by gamer tag squatters appearing every where with the Ismail Ax tag.
Makes you wonder .... pretend girl friend .... fantasy world..... internet.... violent disposition... I guarantee this guy was playing some type of first person shooter.... no doubt....
From NBC:
“Among the materials are 23 QuickTime video files showing Cho talking directly to the camera, Capus said. He does not name anyone specifically, but he talks at length about religion and his hatred of the wealthy.”
Their reticence about stating which religion is interesting. If it were Christianity, they would be quick to say so, wouldn’t they?
Package signed A. Ismail. Need sensitivity, per Brian...
I saw a talking head who said the Glok was a type of gun that was constructed in a way that the serial number can still be obtained. It had something to do with the material used in the body of the gun.
You asked — “I wonder if he sent it during that two hour period of time between the two shootings.”
I read that the package was received at the Post Office (where it was sent from) at 9:01 AM. Now we know one place that Cho went to in between times...

If it were Christianity, they would be quick to say so, wouldnt they?
rails against Christianity...
“For my brothers and sisters that you f***ed” - sounds like Jihad to me.
Return address: A. Ishmael
Sent at 9:01 am via USPS
Began working on the materials at least 6 days ago
How about a juvenile record?
Pffft. Of course we know. You mash on the "Private Reply" button below the Freeper's name. Type in your message and then Send. ;^)
Gang banga boyeeeeee .....
Do I smell jihad?
You asked — “Have they said whether he bought the firearms legally or not? I cant remember if I heard that? Also do they know when he bought them? Was it before or after that court order??”
He bought them legally, as the dealer did the background check as required and the dealer said the guy was normal and unremarkable, so no real reason to be concerned. And in addition to that, he bought the second gun after the 30-day period had elapsed. Apparently you can’t buy another one within 30 days. So, right after that, he got the second one. That was just about a week ago, I think (thereabouts).
And lastly, the commital was *voluntary* — according to the news conference today — and thus a *voluntary commital would not be recorded. An “involuntary one” would be recorded. That’s the idea I got from the news conference today.
