Just heard anchorette report this on pMSNBC
And they would have gotten the package earlier, if he hadn't put the wrong address and zip code on it.
To be precise I BELIEVE he actually didn't literally have a "roommate" - he had "Suitemates."
You have an individual small room but you share a common living room and kitchen area and whatnot with 6-8 other people. A lot of dorms like that when I was in college and they're probably getting more common.
A couple of 9mm handguns and quite a LOT of 9mm ammo can easily be brought into such a room and stored without anyone noticing.
The comments about deleting content only reflects your rather paranoid diseased thinking.... but as for making copies, why the heck shouldn't they make copies? They're a news organization and it was sent to them. I'd certainly make a copy if it was sent to me.
I’m sure if the heat is on NBC they will just blame Imus
Interesting! Seems like Obama implied that “verbal violence” may have influence on people like this guy and from what I remember he was talking about someone on MSNBC. At first I thought he may have been talking about Rosie O’Donnell and her “Ching Chang” anti-asian slur but then I remembered that Rosie is on ABC. Oh!
Just yesterday from all that I gathered about the killer, his obvious hatred of the rich, you know, the class war-fare, I had a good idea he had been watching the anti-american drive by media. In fact, I thought maybe he had been listening to Keith Overbite. No doubt he was a big fan of Overbite. His rants, as told by people who knew him, pretty much parrotted Keith Overbite.
I think one of the people Obama mentioned as using “verbal violence” was Kerry / Edwards supporter anti-Iraq war Imus.
This killer was definately a fan of the drive-by media.
JAT but I think he probably filed them off because at the time he might have thought he could get away with this.
I never watch Chrissy mathews, except today. He questioned one of the roommates saying they were so much more understanding of this weirdo than when he went to college.
I thought the same thing actually. His roomies from last year and this year saw some odd behavior to say the least. The guys from this year haven’t said as much nor did they report anything that I know of. The roomies from last year reported him for several incidents but still allowed him to stay in their group suite. Ugh
I’m only leaving that pic of the nutcase up for a bit and then I’m dumping it because I can’t stand seeing it on my comment page and in my photobucket account.
One of the roommates was on Fox earlier today. There were no guns seen. The kid never acted threatening and his roommates had never been informed that this kid was a stalker. The kid would hardly communicate. He would simply work on his laptop. They finally gave up trying to include him in anything.
It does look like something one might find on DU, language and general content wise.
If it's a college dorm, how do the suitemates have the power to personally evict him?
I thought the same thing, why else go through all that.
FWIW, one article reported that in his manifesto he rants against the wealthy.
That's ok, it will be on youtube in hours.
This letter to NBC will tell us alot. If he was a writer than he will have more than enough written to explain who he was. Sounds like he was more than happy to leave a paper/computer trail of his hatred.
Pray for W and Va Tech
I've played that game, and yet turned out okay.
This is the fruit of using class envy to gain political power. Marx used it. Lenin used it. Stalin used it. Mao used it. Castro uses it. Chavez uses it. European socialists and communists use it. AND, the democrats use it.
I’m not saying that this young man wasn’t severely mentally ill, but I do think that there are consequences to class envy.
I don’t know, but there has to be some sort of mediation in situations like this. He was way beyond just an oddball and the school had a pretty big file on him.
If 5 guys go in and complain, I’m sure they would move him. After all, they took him out of at least one of his classes because he scared everyone in there!

Huh? My comment was tongue-in-cheek. But I guess I should have remembered that I was posting on an open forum read by people of varying comprehension.
