The school had bomb threats before.

One student thought "this was a little different. It was more than just a sick joke someone was playing."

When I had read that the shooter was “Asian”, I am coming to think what that means. Let’s hope this was not a “sudden jihad syndrome” incident.

This must be a mistake. This college was a "gun-free zone". So it's impossible.

Fortunately, there is a local S.W.A.T. Team. They reacted instantly and suited up in their bullet-proof vests with helmets, face-shields and were just bristling with automatic weapons, kung-fu stars and state of the art camo-colored SWAT gear.

They raced to the scene and proceeded to quickly hide behind the cars in the parking lot and talked to each other over the radio, while the unarmed students fended for themselves against a heavily armed gunman - FOR OVER TWO HOURS.

I can imagine all the activity of the SWAT Team...

"I heard a gunshot...another one...another..."(sound of munching donuts)...

"Keep your head down, they seem to be shooting real bullets...(munch, munch...)

Why on earth would a lone gunman be allowed to shoot unarmed kids for over two hours?

They should all be forced to sell their pretty camo-colored SWAT gear and buy a flagpole with a white flag to raise in front of the police station.

This incident will definitely be used by the Democrat “establishment” as an excuse to further butcher the 2nd Amendment.

Ten ATF agents are now on the Virginia Tech campus assisting with weapons identification. They are collecting shell casings and running some preliminary tests on scene. What are they going to tell us? That laws were broken?

They will try to find a way to vilify the weapon(s) used and the highly scrutinized federally mandated processes for controlling the transfer of firearms. The story should not about the weapon(s). It should be about the shooter(s) and the victim disarmament which enabled it.

Virginia State law is specifically to blame. The law prohibited all students from having weapons on campus, but did not prevent the shooter(s).
