Gunman on Campus; Stay inside your building, away from windows; Shooting incident at West Ambler Johnston Hall

You are so right AP. The darkness cannot overcome the Light. From a lot of life experience I have learned that from every tragedy, God brings forth a gift. We don’t always see it right away. Life seems more “alive” in the presence of death. The sunset was a small gift of light in your darkness. Having just made the walk, you are in a good place to be right now, spiritually speaking. Prayers are with you.
If this creep wasn't a Muslim, the next one likely will be. What was that school in Russia where Muslims murdered all those children?
Hmmmmmm . . .
So, some more puzzle pieces appear which fit much more reasonably . . .
Xin Jiang etc . . . Western Provinces are Islamic in China.
Conceivably could have easily come from one of them.
That’s just NUTS. As if a cellphone movie would convey success and the American media would hide this incident.
And then he gave it to the American media who apparently would hide it under your thinking.
I’m really getting frustrated with the thinking around here.
More important things to do than give press conferences, methinks.....
It’s not the training, it’s the sense of responsibility of the “kids” in uniform, and the trust given to them by the officers.
Trust, responsibility, duty- I bet you could find those character traits on campus, even outside of ROTC.
College kids are not all irresponsible slackers.
Thanks for that. Weren’t the 911 terrorist issued student visas? Maybe I am mistaken.
FYI
You really are a stupid pompous ass.
Sometimes evil wins. Thats what happened today. We shouldnt make it worse by trying to take down another victim, in this case V Tech administration.
Exactly right. Apparently some of our posters have the amazing ability to make the right decisions all the time with only limited information. It's a shame a few of them weren't at Tech this morning. Sadly, only humans were on the job today.
We only know one name. I know families connected to those who are dead or wounded.
You misspelled my name. Try again. My namesake was a highly successful nurturer, not a warrior.
LOL...LOL...ROFLMAO...LOL...You owe me a keyboard!
This last weekend was our APR Drill for the 39th Infantry Brigade. We had weapons qualifications and I can tell you, as the range officer and safety OIC for the range, A SUPER MAJORITY OF COPS, and A LARGE MAJORITY OF military are NOT, REPEAT, NOT "highly trained" to use their weapons.
Now, if you switch the subject to full time SWAT teams, QRFs, SOFs, etc, then you have a highly trained group (albiet very small) of proficient professionals.
Hope that helps.
That is a touching message from the Edwards family. They have faced tragedy in their lives too.
I see all of that,,,..
1.There’s a difference between murder and protecting oneself and Family or Friends.
2.Soldiers do not Murder, they Protect,,,I’ve known soldiers that have Murdered, but they were no longer Soldiers..
3.Got youngins’ in Middle School here,,nothin’better to kill someone for ,than for these Grandbabies,,my kids will only ask for backup if they need it...
What was that school in Russia where Muslims murdered all those children?
School was in Beslan.
Thank you. This confirms what I read earlier.
>The 24-year-old man arrived in San Francisco on United Airlines on Aug. 7 on a visa issued in Shanghai, the source said. Investigators have not linked him to any terrorist groups, the source said.<
Beautiful post.
