Awrrrrrrrl!
I see that now.
this “person of interest”, he’s got to be the wrong guy. otherwise, there are surely two shooters - how is that possible?
Incredibly stupid!
Amen.
Thank you for saying that.
A university is a small city, populated primarily with adults. As with any other public place, there is little that can be done to prevent a determined evil person from creating havoc.
Sometimes evil wins. That’s what happened today. We shouldn’t make it worse by trying to take down another victim, in this case V Tech administration.
Cooperating ‘wichu’ guys
join the club...I’m soooooooooooooo confused.
PRESSER: Person of interest is cooperating with police.
Person of interest is cooperating with police. (?)
yes, both Ted and Greta are asking questions.
You're darned right he just broke in.

Copy and paste to WMP.
Damn!
Deputy-tells-nothing said the POI was that because “he knew one of the victims”. This guy is worthless...and before I get jumped on for having CSI syndrome (I don’t even watch those shows), this is what the presser should have covered:
1. Did one shooter do both jobs?
2. If not, is the other one in custody? Name?
3. Name of dead shooter
4. Bodies removed?
5. IS THERE STILL A SHOOTER OUT THERE?
Answer the questions, thank everyone for attending, then get back to work. Short and sweet.
I heard the FBI lady. She called Fox news.
person of interest had talked to police today, cannot rule him in or out of suspicion
O’REally had to break in since he has all the answers of who did what wrong!
Pray for W and Va Tech
Before I begin, you should know that my brother is in law enforcement.
Domestic incidents aren’t usually considered preludes to mass murder. If the campus police had reason to believe the killer had left campus, left town and was potentially leaving the state, WHY would they lockdown a campus of over 26,000 students?
The dorm where the initial murders took place WAS in lockdown as the investigation continued.
I worked as an RA for 3 years and an Assistant Residence Director for 1 year. I was at a school of 3500 students in residence, 5000 on campus during any given day—nowhere near as large as VT.
Have any of these reporters been in college? How many students do you think were still SLEEPING at 9 or even 10 a.m.? Students were in their cars, in off-campus housing, walking around campus, already in classrooms, hanging out in lounges, eating in the cafeteria...
How many people would it take to personally contact every person/room/dorm floor within minutes of the second shooting beginning?
And if people are really feeling the need to blame someone, I’d like to know how the gunman got across campus with a vest full of ammo without anyone noticing. And how did he chain up doors without anyone noticing? He must have passed students and faculty.
The questions are rude and ridiculous. The press is out of control. Yes, updates need to be given, but the time to start second-guessing isn’t while FAMILIES ARE STILL BEING NOTIFIED.
Good people (read: police officers) are being criticized by people who have no clue. If they erred, fine. The time to talk about it ISN’T TONIGHT.
Remember Katrina? All the misinformation? Let’s focus on the grief tonight, folks, and then get down to business when more facts are in and the very human and natural hysteria has passed.
Just my two cents.
