Oh...I definitely don’t think that black people are mind numbed robots..
My friends say that they never elected Al or Jesse for anything...
So..if it is the “venue” that makes the difference..then if Imus was on satellite radio and said that same thing..it would be okay?
To: Radix
Actually, it appears that he crossed swords with Senator Schumer from New York about a month ago, and now we know who is the real boss of the media. Why do people have a penchant for giving scumbags like Schumer so much credit?

D@mn! Off to rehab and he didn't even call them faggots!
I don't agree with his politics, but look at the shrill sweathog still yapping her crap while this man is shut down!!
What he said may not have been nice, but the double standard has reached an all time high.
A what? He said what? A Straight. White. Guy.? (three strikes!) He's outta there!

Imus has NOT lost his job. He lost one of the places where he might DO his job. Imus can go anywhere, just like the Dixie Chicks. Nobody has taken away his right to sit in front of a microphone and grumble the day away.

Given all that's transpired, how could you possibly be comfortable in your use of the term nap?

Methinks Lester Holt and Alison Steward MIGHT be a little offended.

Yeah. The Daily News had a sports reporter by the name of Mike Lupica and if I’m not mistaken he and Imus were friends. This was a very long time ago, but I think Lupica and Imus had a falling out with Lupica swearing never to appear on Imus’ show again. Anyway, back on topic, I saw a byline from Lupica the other day (haven’t heard of him for years), and now he is a liberal “political” reporter, which explains why he was such a lousy sports reporter.

If I can dodge missiles in a 50K lb aircraft, I can dodge FReepers. They wont shoot me down. But, I might decide to eject on my own, considering the current climate.

It does not take much to delete it from your the list of selectable channels on your TV...The cost benefits of it going under and being physically removed from the DirecTV service, far outweigh my figuring out how to selectably remove channels from my guide.

Schumer is a pretty smart guy.
He just happens to have no soul, ever since he sold it.
It would be unwise to underestimate the power that this individual actually wields, and it is even scarier now that the democrats are holding the Senate gavel.

Let me know when the “poverty pimp twins” go down to NC and apologize to the Duke rugby team. When that happens, ha, I’ll care about another poor group being offended.

I think Imus has emphysema which was complicated when he was thrown from the horse and suffered the collapsed lung.
Oh well, you’re probably right regarding his radio fate.

LOL! I liked your answer about the ‘’unspoken’’ rules.........Maybe a little off topic but they just showed Sean Hannity asking Jesse Jackson if he would apologize to the three ‘’Duke Lacross’’ players that were accused of rape, because way long time ago almost from the first day Jesse Jackson was out protesting saying these boys must go to jail for thirty years. Sean asked.’’You convicted these boys before you had any facts, now it turns out the woman made the whole thing up. These boys lives have been ruined. Will you apologize?’’...... Jesse thought for a moment, then said’’UH UH, NO! LOL
