I see no dip in his national numbers. Can you direct me to a thread that supports your contention?
And one that got booted after a week long stint as well.
Which poster, EV?
The less one says the more apt people are to listen when you do say something. Less is more and Thompson understands that. Thompson does not have to say much, just sit back and watch as Giulani, Romney and Gingrich who seem to never shut up but never say much worth remembering. All Thompson needs to do if he does win the nomination is just appear on the same debate stage as Hillary or Obama and let them do the talking. The Reagan Carter debates were remembered for Reagan saying “there you go again” and “are you better off today than your were”, but many said the debate was over when the still shots were taken at the beginning of debate showing Reagan and Carter in the same frame. And so it would be with Thompson. Thompson in the same picture with Hillary, Obama or Edwards would be a difficult picture for Democrats. A lot can be said for being an actor. There is a lot to acting other than opening your mouth. Thompson understands how a leader should present himself, while the rest of the field seem to be auditioning for a talk show host more than offering themselves as leader of the free world.
Which the Rudyite FRiberals denounce as "smearing."
But hey, we got rid of Dan Ratherbiased and Harriet Miers, maybe he should just go ahead and quit now.
And I fully expect Mitt and Fred to escape unscathed, from many of the sins Rudy is excoriated for here. They won't be held to the same standards. It's called hypocrisy.
To wit, doesn't Massachusetts have universal health care? Do you support that???
JoinRudy2008: The Tarrance Group Joins Giuliani Presidential Exploratory Committee Team
The Rudy Giuliani Presidential Exploratory Committee announced today that Ed Goeas, Dave Sackett and Brian Tringali from The Tarrance Group, a prominent research and strategic consulting firm, are joining the committee as its pollsters.
Many of us see the dip in a woman's dress!
I voted for Ken Blackwell in the gubernatorial race here in Ohio who promoted a very similar (to the Massachusetts) free market, consumer driven, universal coverage plan.
And for the record I never called Rudy a flip flopper on his change regarding partial birth abortion. I like it when pols come around to my way of thinking.
So what if he ~was~ signed up here EV?
You, of all people, certainly know that Rudy wasn’t/isn’t the only candidate with professional/paid staff that happen to also be FReepers.
Like it or not the vast majority, perhaps even all, of the pro-Rudy articles and posts come from volunteers who are excited about his candidacy.
Wait a minute. He’s still here. I had the sn wrong:

I was simply correcting false information.
If he’s working for a political campaign and using FreeRepublic as a venue for soliciting volunteers and/or financial contributions, he may not belong here even for strictly legal reasons.
“It’s your own damn words that are doing you in Rudy. The fact that you are blaming anything but your own fat mouth is YET ANOTHER SIGN that you are not ready for prime time. Real men say “my bad.” Jerks blame everyone but themselves.”
Heeheeee, I love it! DirtBoy ‘08!!!
As long as he’s honest about who he is, I don’t see a problem.
But, you, and several of your pro-Giuliani compadres, have claimed, with no equivocation, that there were no Rudy staffers here. I proved you wrong.
