At least he’s being honest.

"A strict constructionist judge can come to either conclusion about Roe against Wade," he said.

Unbelievable. Simply unbelievable. Any glint of hope I had that Rudy at least understood the Constitution has now disappeared. Sounds like another, 'that depends on what the definition of is, is' moment to me.

Why, he's certainly NEVER HID HIS VIEWS?

He and his supporters dangle President Hillary in front of pro-life conservatives and dare us not to support him, should he win.

I, for one, hold my Christian pro-life values before I hold any party affiliation and will work for the defeat of any active pro-death politician, regardless of whom "might" be elected in their stead.

I value God when He says "Fear the Lord."

Very bad move by Giuliani.

Don’t worry, he’ll say something else next week.

Like Reagan said. If someone only agrees with you 80%, they are definately not against you.

It's very discouraging. There were some pro-lifers on the fence for Rudy, hoping that he'd at least denounce abortion and admit he was wrong or move to the right on the issue.

Not only does Rudy remain vehemently pro-abortion, he wants taxpayers to fund it as well. That destroys his "fiscal conservative" credentials as well.

I don't think Rudy will survive the GOP primaries. Conservative activists will be out in force. The days of compromising with the Left are over, and I think conservatives are tired of Republicans who want to act like Democrats.

People who are not even marginally aware of Giuliani’s stand on this issue, are people who don’t watch the news on TV, and buy the paper just to read the Sports section.

If Giuliani had flipped on his well-known stand on abortion, the he would have been attacked as a liar, and accused of flip flopping/pandering for votes. Additionally, he would have seen a drop in the polls anyway, as those who support him BECAUSE he is a pro-life Republican would be turning their backs on him.

So, you can’t accuse him of flip-flopping, lying, or pandering for votes.

So politically speaking, doing what he did was the only sensible thing to do.
