In Court, Man turns out to be Woman!
What a story from the Hamilton County courts building today; court records show a man charged with molesting a teen, is actually a woman!
In court today, Prosecutors revealed that Alexander Cross is actually a woman. Her given name is Elaine Cross, she legally changed it to Alexander. How did prosecutors find out Cross was a woman? After she had been in the Hamilton County jail for 10 days in January, someone noticed she was actually a female while she was taking a shower. She was immediately moved to female isolation.
According to news reports, Cross was charged with performing oral sex on a 15 year old victim. And prosecutors said today, that the victim fell in love with cross, thinking she was a he. The young girl was reportedly stunned to find out Cross was a woman.
Judge Rebecca Stern approved a plea agreement today. One charge was dismissed, and Cross pleaded guilty to felony statutory rape. She received a two year prison sentence, all of it suspended, and will be put on unsupervised probation for six years. She also has to register as a sex offender. Judge Stern also said she must change her driver's license so that it lists her as a female, not a male.

S/he kinda looks like the actor Ed Norton -- in twenty years, once the meth and Dewar's smoothies have taken their toll.
1. it took 10 days to find out. That hurts.
2. The story only says "a teen". It does not identify the gender of the minor molested. Want to be it was a female? IOW this was a homosexual woman predating on minor girls.
"Man! I feel like a woman!"
What do you expect? Once they found out it was a woman, not a man, this was inevitable. I'm surprised her lawyer didn't explain this to her earlier.
Guilty ping
Hmmm....I would want to look at the testimony...did the victim testify that the defendant had male genitalia (and then that turned out to be false)?
Of course you would think defendant or the defendant's attorney would point it out if indeed the defendant wanted to avoid prison...
Uh...don't they do cavity checks at that jail?
Only the dentist. I'm sure whoever was on shift that night remembered he had to go home and iron his cat. ;)
Guilty.
A syndrome is a condition distinguished by a number of features that often occur together. Klinefelter syndrome is the name given to a condition in which there is a characteristic group of symptoms including the tendency to develop breasts, sparse facial hair, and an inability to produce sperm. The condition only affects males. An additional X chromosome is found in the cells of these affected boys, giving them two X chromosomes instead of the usual one (see later).
Klinefelter syndrome, first described in 1942 by Dr Harry Klinefelter, is one of the more common genetic conditions and affects between 1 in 500 and 1 in 1000 males.
There are a number of features that can be present in Klinefelter syndrome. Some will have more symptoms than others and there will be a difference in the degree of severity of the symptoms between affected boys. In some cases, a diagnosis of Klinefelter syndrome is not made until a boy approaches puberty and some men may never be diagnosed with the condition.
As children, boys with Klinefelter syndrome are often quieter, less assertive and more passive than other males and more so than their siblings. They may be slower to develop language, motor (movement) skills and emotional maturity than their peers. This does not mean that they will not achieve these things, but will do so at a slower rate. However, as boys with Klinefelter syndrome grow older, shyness, unassertiveness and relative immaturity may persist. Problems with language, speech and verbal skills generally are the major deficits for these boys and may need some remedial intervention at school. Learning difficulties may be the greatest developmental challenge. IQ however, is in the normal range, although it may be 10-15 points lower than that of their siblings.
Boys with Klinefelter syndrome tend to grow at a slightly quicker rate than their peers and their final height may be greater than expected, but is usually within the normal range. In around 50% of boys there is some growth of breast tissue at puberty (gynaecomastia). This can be distressing and in about 10% of cases, may need to be corrected by plastic surgery.
Body hair, beard growth and testicular size are all reduced in males with Klinefelter syndrome. The use of the male hormone testosterone has been effective in increasing strength and developing a more masculine appearance. Treatment usually begins around the age of 11-12 years and can be given in the form of patches. Consultation with an endocrinologist (a hormone specialist) will provide further information about testosterone treatment. Sexuality in Klinefelter syndrome is perfectly normal although men with the syndrome may be infertile (see later).
