I assumed the "n" before the definition meant that it was a noun. Silly me.

Sir, I do neither! That is an ignorant and ill informed question. The Bible says in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;" Do you know Jesus? Or, do you think that His way is too strict, demanding, narrow? I guess I am an evangelical. Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." And finally, I'm on the religious right. Does that make you on the non-religious left? I try to have reasoned and educated debates on these forums. But if you like, I can stoop as low and you would like.

I have no idea where you stand on the issues that I mention, nor at this point do I care because you have made your core values very clear to me.
The point I was trying to make is that outside of those issues I have mentioned, there isn't really much of a difference between the two parties.
Those of you who are trying to make Christians feel guilty for not supporting the Republicans if they "stray off the reservation" so to speak have it all wrong. I would have no guilt at all if the Republicans loose elections because they decided to cast aside some of their positions to appeal to liberals. I would however feel quite guilty for voting for a pro-abortion candidate.
To be very honest with you atlaw, I think you are making a very huge mistake by trying to belittle Christians. We are smarter than you think. And you are really not as good at bashing us as you think you are. Take a look over in DUmmy land. They have Christian bashing down to a science. I think you would really enjoy reading them and you would probably pick up a few pointers in the fine art of bashing Christians. Learn from the pro's as they say.

No one can know for sure beyond the shadow of a doubt but God, but there certainly are things that can give us a good indication if the person is sincere and that's how one's life matches up to the teachings of Scripture.
Bill Clinton claimed to be a Christian, also. Words are cheap. It's more than just a matter of church membership or baptism. It's a heart thing. Jesus had speaks on it in John 15, and other places. If you are a true Christian, you will act like Jesus, being a *little Christ*.
Like you're judging Dobson? You've declared him a phony. Is that not judging him? Who made you the final arbiter of a man's soul? You're doing the very thing you're condemning him for.
