I don't think it's as bad as having it in the pancreas, but having it in the liver is pretty darned bad. I'm not a doctor though so maybe someone with an MD rather than a JD can give us more reliable information

If the reports are true that is this metastasized from his other cancers the outlook is not good. My husbands cancer did the same thing, progonosis is usually less than 6 months

Wait. I thought cancer showed up in the blood. Why was the growth allowed to grow at all when they could of seen in his blood that he had cancer cells??

I know... it just seems so wrong. Geesh, Tony Snow is one of the nicest guys on earth. Even many liberals love him. FNC reporter said "there wasn't a dry eye in the house this morning at the WH press gaggle" when they learned the news about Tony.

I'm trying not to cry about this, but I have been through this with my father and it's something I would not wish on anyone. My father had colon cancer that spread to his liver. He lived for about 4 months. When the cancer blocks the biliary ducts, it is very, very painful.

I am praying with all my might that Tony's outcome is much different.

When my friend's spread from her breast to her liver and lungs, the doctor said it was incurable, but treatable (much like Mrs. Edwards' case). It depends on how much cancer is in the liver.

I am sobbing here... Tony and his family need our prayers more than ever.... The reporters at Fox News look shell-shocked. Mike Emanuel said "there wasn't a dry eye at the press gaggle this morning" over this news about Tony.

Misty eyes out here in NM, too. Before he took his current job, he was kind enough to answer some posts of mine on the daily Tony Snow thread. A class person all the way around. I hope and pray his treatment will be successful.
