Tony's doctors have detected a growth of some kind. He will have surgery on Monday. They are not saying that this is or is not cancer. Please be so kind as to offer your prayers, your support for this good man.

Mondays off, now that is a great job. How about Fridays or say a midweek break like the doctors, i.e. Wednesdays?

Ummm, I’m blonde. I can’t remember.
I just heard a snippet of the President’s speech. He said the right things at first, must register, must be temporary, NO amnesty. Then he says they must pay a “fine” before they can become citizens. Hey, that is AMNESTY!
If there are 5% of the US population now as illegals [it may be 10% if the borders remain as unprotected as they have been while dangling citizenship for crossing over] and this government is unable to do the right thing [which is deport them] they should at the very least not allow citizenship. I can tolerate permanent visas for those who are working and not criminals. But US citizenship is a privilege that should not be used as a political prize.
[Now that I am grey, I can’t remember what I used to be!]

No, I just had today off. A friend lost her father a year ago last Easter and I am friends with her mom too. We wanted to get together on the mom’s day off, so my friend and I took the day off and we had lunch here
:-) We had a very nice time— too short though.
I don’t think that there was a fine in 1986. Or in the 1960’s either. I am not sure, but I think that the first was in 64.
