PHILADELPHIA, Mar. 23 /Christian Newswire/ -- According to two researchers, the largest random sex survey ever conducted has reported that only 1.4% of adults engaged in homosexual behavior. Analyzing a 2003 Canadian Community survey of 121,300 adults, Drs. Paul and Kirk Cameron told attendees of the Eastern Psychological Association Convention that 2% of 18-44 year olds, 1% of 50 year olds, and only a third of a percent of subjects 60+ considered themselves homosexual. Thus homosexual activity was much more common among younger adults.
What happened to the older homosexuals? "Some may have ceased to be sexually active," said Paul Cameron, "or they may have died. Recent reports from Scandinavia indicate that the life expectancy of homosexuals is 20+ years shorter than that of heterosexuals."
Among other questions (read to respondent by interviewer), the Canadian study asked:
"Do you consider yourself to be: heterosexual? (sexual relations with people of the opposite sex)/ homosexual, that is lesbian or gay? (sexual relations with people of your own sex)/ bisexual? (sexual relations with people of both sexes)."
"No one can say that this statistic is 'the bedrock truth,'" Paul Cameron said, "but even with attempts to increase the percentage of active homosexuals – which Statistics Canada appears to have done by reporting only the results of those under the age of 60 – the 1.4% is a figure that has to be taken very seriously.
"The US government survey of 12, 381 adults in 1996, reported that 1.3% of men and 1.1% of women under the age of 60 said they'd had homosexual sex in the last 12 months. It also found few older homosexuals. The oldest male who engaged in homosexuality was 54 and the oldest female+ 49. So it appears that homosexuality is a young person's activity – one that may contribute to an early death."
Paul Cameron, Ph.D. & Kirk Cameron, Ph.D., presented "Federal Distortion Of The Homosexual Footprint." Paul Cameron, a reviewer for the British Medical Journal, the Canadian Medical Association Journal, and the Postgraduate Medical Journal, has published over 40 scientific articles on homosexuality. The EPA is the oldest regional Psychological Association in the United States. At its Philadelphia convention members presented the latest advances in scientific work to colleagues.

Really, I don't think it is working. I also dispute the fact the biased wording here about homosexuality being "far more common" among the young. 2% is tiny compared to the amount of pro gay propaganda that is out there. Lets fact it--1% is a rounding error is most polls. From what I've observed, most kids are smart enough to know that being gay is bad, really bad. Also, the 1% difference is likely due to two things: AIDS and the fact that most older homosexuals still hide their orientation (the shame factor). Actually, in many ways, this poll give me hope.
Why are we allowing 1/4% of the population to control the agenda?
Write to Congress!
We need new laws!
This is unacceptable!
Wait...
good question--I think we're stupid.
LOL
That,s because they demand and are getting special treatment and privileges as a "minority".
Many fags openly brag that they are better than straight people, some of them sound like they represent a "chosen race". Sounds familiar?
Old homosexuals don't die. They just blow away.
Interesting take on these statistics, you may be right.
Not nearly as many as the 10-15% that they have been claiming for decades, and throwing money at.
How much is spent on pervert AIDS each year?
Wouldn't it make more sense to spend it on "children in poverty"?
C.mon!
The fact that there are more young homosexuals than older ones only reinforces the fact that homosexuals die young.
According to two researchers, the largest random sex survey ever conducted has reported that only 1.4% of adults engaged in homosexual behavior.
Perhaps it's the article and not the survey (which I haven't read yet) but it seems to miss celibate homosexuals. We know from other studies plenty of those engaging in homosexual behavior consider themselves heterosexual.
Why jump to conclusions that lack of older homosexuals in the survey means they're dead? Rather, wouldn't it mean younger homosexuals are more likely to have embraced "who they are" and be performing such activity than older folks influenced by more restrictive cultural mores?
Would it matter if there are "only" 5 million homosexuals in America?
That's still a lot of sick people.
Oh, is that politically uncorrect? -sorry-
They died off of AIDS.........
Wow---and this is in Canada, where you'd think the incidence of homosexuality would be higher than average! (DUCKING!)
Being gay is the only way a white, non jewish guy can claim victim status in this country.....I'm amazed the claims of gaydom are so few.
And to think Rudy panders to them as a way to get votes. Uhhhgg.
Because they are The Master Race. Just ask them.
They may say what they say, and I'm sure not everyone in prison engages in such behavior. But I also think it is pretty well documented that some hetero men turn to gay sex in prison. Keep in mind not everyone in prison is getting out to tell you about it, and those that do may not be proud of it.
One-point-four percent makes them a majority if they yell loud and intimidate the other 98.6% through the media agenda, right?
You make an interesting link between homosexuals and children in poverty. Here's my proposal for a new government program: Homosexuals don't have children and certain statistics indicate that most of them have much higher "disposable incomes" as a result of that fact. We see evidence of that in the extent to which "high ticket" items are marketed to them. Yet, we have all these children in poverty. I propose that we tax homosexuals at a much higher rate than others so that we can solve that problem. I mean, it would be "fair", wouldn't it? OK, OK, I'm kidding, but isn't this consistent with they way the lefties think?
There are a ton of homos in the resturaunt biz.
