READ: Psalm 139:1-12
He will not leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6
Tanyas fiancé David was lying in the intensive care unit after a delicate procedure to repair a brain aneurysm. Davids eyes focused on Tanya, who had hardly left his side in several days. In wonder, he said, Every time I look up, youre here. I love that. Every time I think of you, I open my eyes and you are there.
That young mans appreciation for the woman he loves reminds me of the way we should feel about Gods presence in our lives.
He is always there. The Lords presence gives us comfort and security. He has promised, I will never leave you nor forsake you (Heb. 13:5). Who knows us more completely? Who loves us more fully? Who cares for us so well?
In Psalm 139, we read what King David thought of Gods precious presence. He wrote, O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; . . . and are acquainted with all my ways. . . . If I ascend into heaven, You are there (vv. 1-3,8).
No matter what happens to us, we have this assurance: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Ps. 46:1). Open your eyes and your heart. He is there.
Amen..Thank you, Mayor.
Here's our fuzzy little "grandson", Studley.
He's a real fighter. He's not out of the woods yet, but his health keeps improving as he matures. The way he's running around now, it's hard to believe he was comatose 3 weeks ago with less than 50% chance of survival. I think he's 12 weeks old now...
Amen, indeed.
Thanks again for Our Daily Bread, Rus.
My latest creation. This one is made from 1 1/2" conduit, measures 67" top to bottom of sail and the longest tube is 44". Unplanned was how many stars would appear... turned out exactly 50. A nice breeze late yesterday afternoon filled the air with the sound of Freedom Ringing. Warmed the soul.
Hannah Grace is home!!! Thank you to all who prayed for her! Her blood pressure remains a bit high but is under control with medication and is being closely monitored. She has another surgery coming up in a month or so to hook up her "plumbing" and reverse the colostomy and she still some issues with swallowing (so she has a G-tube) but docs expect her to be OK! They don't see any permanent damage to her brain, heart, kidneys or other organs from when we nearly lost her. Thank the Lord!
Studly is adorable. Is he a Yorkie? So good to hear that his health is improving!
Amen and your welcome!
Nice job! I love them.
She is so cute!
Thank the good Lord!
O, Diver, Studley is so adorable..Prayers the little guy keeps on improving!
Your wind chimes are beautiful!
What a beautiful baby! I thank God that Hannah Grace is improving!
PTL! for the good news about Hannah Grace. What a beautiful little girl she is. Again, prayers continue.
Yep, Studley is a Yorkie. Our daughter, sil and grandson lost many hours sleep caring and nurturing him once he came home from the vet hospital.
