No question about it, it was stupid, and more to the point..just plain wrong.
Every Repub. has had the last 60 years to get it through their thick skulls that if they are not beyond reproach, they will be cashed in by the democrats at the democrats convenience. That is the power of dominating the meda.

So let's just dispense with all this commentary about EVERYONE's personal lives, and concentrate only on their politics. No more comments about mistresses, divorces, private sex lives...
Yeah, sure. That'll happen.

"The president of the United States got in trouble for committing a felony in front of a sitting federal judge," the former Georgia congressman said of Clinton's 1998 House impeachment on perjury and obstruction of justice charges. Perjury, obstruction of justice, lying to a federal judge?
These are only crimes if you are a Republican. Clintons and Democrats get a pass.

This isn't news to those who were paying attention at the time. I remember folks castigating Gingrich for blowing his credibility in going after X42.

"I personally admire Newt, and would love to see him as President... but, my wife heard on Oprah that he divorced his wife while she was in the hospital recovering from cancer.... She won't even listen to him for 5 seconds. She reacts to Newt the way I do to Hillary."
I'm with your wife! I'm not sure where I heard it (years ago) but it has stayed with me. Anyone who would inform his wife of his divorce plans while she's in the hospital being treated for cancer is a lowlife and will not EVER get my vote.

As usual, the Al P gets it wrong. Clinton was accused of perjury and suborning perjury; not infidelity.

Yeah, and as a faithful husband of 22 years, I don't understand why it's so darned difficult for so many men to keep their pants on.
I guess power just corrupts everyone.

Newt's twice the Conservative that Romney is and Duncan Hunter
is a very good of his as matter fact he didn't want to Newt to step down
To: Darkwolf377
I always concentrate on the politics.
There is enough in Giuliani's liberal record that will sink his campaign in the end.
That doesn't mean I ignore bad behavior.

His first marriage, to his former high school geometry teacher
So, when did they begin "dating"? While Newt was still in high school or after he graduated?
Newt seems to have a persistent problem in the zipper area.

I find Newt's personality - ego - about as unappealing as there is in any politician.
