LOL!!!
At the moment I'm unable to post pix..but I have to tell you, I honestly believe our barn cats can tell time. Everyday they arrive on the front steps about 6-8 minutes before my friend gets here bringing home my daughter from school. The kitties know it's supper time!!!!!
Thanks, GeeBee - I just love all the sweet little animal pics everyone finds. Don't remember where I found the two little puppies, but it was fun adding the patchwork colors.
I love that picture....the sun coming through the beautiful flag that we love.
I meant to say the Boston Terrier in your graphic reminds me of our Roscoe. :) He's only about 1/2 Boston Terrier, but he has "that face" (only with a slightly longer nose)
Hopefully you'll be able to get out in your garden and plant those peas soon!
Hi Texagirlfriend, I love these warm days - feels like spring, though I know we've still got plenty of cold weather ahead of us.
Berry picking is heaven! I recall oh so long ago when I lived in San Francisco. We, a bunch of us, would drive inland to the countryside late summer and pick blackberries growing wild on the roadside fences. We also found an awesome plum orchard on a friend's land... best plums I ever saw or ate. We loaded up on those and took what we couldn't use to a local park festival to give away.
I still have a photo of myself--- about 5 yrs old --- on an outing to a pick-your-own cherries orchard. That was in a place here in SoCal called Beaumont. Don't know if that still goes on.
Yeah, and you do get sick... I sure do, after eating too much fresh fruit.... LoLoL.
Oh, dutchess - I'm in love with that sweet kitten. (and I'm not a kitty person! But kittens are adorable!)
What a beautiful shot of your flag with the sun shining through it, Dave!
My fingers are itching! I don't care that it's only going to be in the 40s and windy saturday....I'm putting in peas! I'm 2 weeks late as it is.
That's such a neat picture, Dolly - have you been there? Isn't it something Alaska built them a safe place to cross like that. I always feel sad whenever I see a deer or other animal lying dead on the highway. In the Texas Hill Country, motorists have to be extremely careful, especially at night, because there are so many deer along the highway.
Oh how fun that sounds!!!!
The first time I ever picked blueberries was the summer before last, when we found this orchard. I was still on crutches from breaking my ankle and was basically sitting on the bed of the pickup while hubby and child were having all the fun. After about 30 minutes of listening to their laughter from somewhere I couldn't see, I decided to go see what all the fun was about. These are long established blueberry bushes and stand about 6feet tall, trying to balance on the crutches and pick berries just wasn't cutting it, so I decided I was just going to sit on the ground and watch. Well, well.......it seems nobody bothered with the berries on the lower branches. I was in heaven!!!!
Why, I didn't know you were a Weather Girl, Dita! :) A Fox station, of course - no conservative would be caught working for one of the other networks. :)
Ohhhh, that panda cub is beautiful!!!
To everything, turn turn turn
There is a season, turn turn turn
And a purpose under heaven.....
I live "in the country". I don't garden. I hate gardening. :( I know - I'm bad. :(
Uh, yeah right...Heehee!
Bad bad Billie!! I don't believe it.... I even love the smell of dirt!! LOL.
I feel not so well, better get back to bed. Later, guys and gals...
Oh, I absolutely believe animals can tell time! Ours knows exactly when it's time for lunch, for an afternoon walk, for dinner, and for an evening walk, and one last potty break before bedtime.
Of course, it could be because they know the routine! LOL!
