Breaking on MSNBC
They also think that they're *covert* when digging for Nose Gold at stoplights.
Don't know if they're one and the same. I'm sure he would've given us his address and phone # ... if only someone had asked.
The 5 minute radio news on top of the hour is where the best agitprop is for the Main Stream Media.
"LOL, Plame was so "covert" that the CIA let her husband write an op-ed about the "covert" trip he took, the "covert" intell he found, on the orders of his "covert" wife? In an international newspaper no less, lol."
The CIA demanded the investigation because they claimed she was covert. Had they not done that there would not have been an investigation nor an opportunity for Libby to commit perjury or obstruction of justice. Do you realize how stupid you sound?
Are you guys aware that as a reporter and author Mr. Collins (the Gushing Juror) investigated at some level the workings of Dick Cheney's WH office?
Collins wrote a book "Behaving Badly" about the Enron affair, saying that Mr. Cheney was very receptive to Ken Lay in their WH meeting(page 101).

Yes, but he is a registered independant don't ya' know. /sarc
I'd want to see his books on left wingers!
they said she "heard something on the news about the case", and that disqualified her.
I believe that was the one out of five charges he was found not guilty on.
His opening statement portrayed Libby as a "victim" of Cheney's office. It was utterly stupid as a strategy.
Yes. Unfortunately.
You figure it out.
But all you'll hear here is people blaming everyone other than Scooter.
LOL, you don't even know what Libby was on trial for, do you? It was Armitage that ADMITTED revealing Plames name as a CIA agent before Libby said anything. No one was charged with outing Plame, this was all about alleged lying about a conversation that had nothing to do with an illegal act. It was a strictly he said, he said. Get a clue, dude.
Get a clue, clueless. Maybe even try reading. I didnt say Libby was on trial for leaking the information, I said one of the more damaging pieces of evidence was that he asked the press secretary Fleischer to leak the informaton to the press three days before being told by Russert. If he knew the information three days before talking to Russert, how could Russert have told him this information for the very first time. A perpetual virgin!!. And that is if you dont count the other six or seven people that he told or talked about Plame with prior to that conversation. Geez, grow up or STFU
Agreed, but that doesn't excuse coming right out of the box screaming "Cheney did it." It got him nothing, and over the long haul, confirmed the notion that there was something nefarious afoot.
LOL!
LOL, cut the drama Homer, it does not work with me.
I hope you aright, but I just had that sinking feeling after I learned the verdict and I haven't felt that pessimistic before. Also, the fact that the republican party has no real true candidate. Don't get me wrong, I think Rudy is a wonderful leader, crime fighter etc... but not a true conservative candidate and i am worried that will hurt the 2008 election by people staying home out of their frustration.
the entire grand jury was a perjury trap. it wasn't investigating any actual crime once the facts regarding her status (not covert) were understood.
Also, going to prison after a political railroading should never "go with the territory". How on earth are we supposed to get decent people to serve our interest in DC when this type of thing happens? I personally want to create an environment that encourages good people participate and serve in a government created by the people and for the people.
Count on it and I'll bet their price just went up.
