I'm not ashamed to admit that I find the Geico Caveman commercials actually amusing...

The show may be great, or it may cause the Geico caveman commercials to jump the shark. We'll see. Personally they are my favorite commercials.

The commercial went from mildly funny to annoying pretty fast. I can't imagine watching a half-hour one-joke based show, with such a silly premise.

One of the best series of commercials. "Looks like somebody woke up on the wrong side of the rock".

Cue sound of bomb whistle as this one-joke premise goes nowhere in the Nielsens.
Also cue sound of lawyers starting up the litigation engine as SNL writers threaten to sue over the obvious plagiarism of their 'Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer' sketch with the late Phil Hartman.

I'm interested in the episode titled:
Anna Nicole Smith, so easy a Caveman could do it.

In the first episode the ACLU agrees to take their discrimination case to the Supreme Court...
This could challenge Law and Order.

The commercial where he's going through the airport is absolute genius. Everything about it is funny. He's going on vacation with a badminton racket, for godsakes!
The music is perfect, the timing is brilliant, and that caveman actor gets more emotion through nine pounds of makeup on his face than most television dramas can manage in a season.
The thing that makes the whole campaign work for me is the fact that the caveman are all liberals. They're bitchy and pissed off and hypersensitive and surly and self-important and dumb. They're perfect.
"I'll have the duck with the peach mango salsa."
"Nothing for me, thanks. I'm not hungry."
His whole personality just screams "Gore really won!"

Satirizing the professionally offended self-appointed victim spokesman will support a line of commercials, but it's a thin reed for a full television program.

Am I the only one that finds this disturbing? Not the show, just the appearance of those . . . things.
