I am not a Meryl Streep fan....

..but she just went up a notch by admitting to being a size 14!!!!!

That HAS to be a first for the Red Carpet!

I wonder how many of these Hollywood freaks are up for Academy Awards that also made Bernard Goldbergs list?

I will be disappointed if she doesn't win an Oscar tonight. She's terrific in everything that she does.

!Hollywood take a pointer from this actress who has said it best

"I'm not a politician," She says evenly. "If I want to be one, I'll run for office. Susan Sarandon, whom I know and love, is a fantastic actress. It's her right as an American to say whatever she wants. [But] just because you're rich and famous doesn't qualify you to make political statements. I don't put my opinions out there to influence people. You have alot of influence. And sometimes I feel it's undeserved influence." Reese Witherspoon

By in large I think all movies are better on big screen. I have BIG TVs & quality sound systems. But it is NOT the same. I love our Cinemark Stadium Seating theaters here in NE Ohio

I agree with you, 100%! Anyone who doesn't agree needs to do a simple comparison (though it's impossible, for the most part). Compare 3 movies between the small screen and the large screen. Alien (the original), Ran (by Kurosawa), and Brazil (by Terry Gilliam). Another great example is Star Wars, the original. I remember sitting in one of the larger theaters in KC (The Glenwood) and the opening scene where the star destroyer appears "over your head," chasing the transport. Nothing, repeat, NOTHING had prepared me for that scene!

It's too bad that all of the "individual Oscar nominated songs" are not hip hop songs. It's getting to the point where the lone hip hop song always wins the Oscar unless there isn't one that's nominated.
