Hello RNC, are you listening?
I just received a call to renew my RNC membership. The solicitor assured me with my questions and concerns that RNC is moving away from supporting Log Cabin Republicans.
I felt relieved, thanked him and authorized him to transfer me to the verifier to make a donation. I tell the verifier, if what was said was true, that the RNC is moving away from supporting the Log Cabin Republicans, he can double my donation amount.
The verifier, gets mad/defensive. Asks me why would the RNC not support Log Cabin Republicans? He says they are part of the GOP and deserve our vote.
I said that was all I needed to hear and ended my the call. That is, without verifying my donation.
I will send the money directly to the Conservative candidates I support. No more RNC.
Sorry about the double post, not that it isn't something I wouldn't repeat!
I think Congressman Salazar is a good example of a decent democrat.
Couldn't agree more.
Now I'm agreeing with MNjohnnie? Angels dance with joy ;^)
"Bottom line is that a proper Republican canididate should: "
You mean conservative candidate? Party and Ideology have been two different things for several years.
Anyway, where is the term "A Leader" mentioned? A President should be a leader first.
The homosexual agenda is very aggressive and I for one will not be a part of it. Every TV show, movies, politics,I am sick of it. Young children being indoctrinated in public schools. The more the agenda is advanced the more it will come down hard on the religious community because that is what they want to do.Does that mean every heterosexual is pure absolutely not but the homosexual agenda is radical and in your face and it makes me sick.
I certainly expect a higher standard in the present. And the near past. People change and evolve. Males horsing around at a charity event isn't the end of the world for pete's sake.
But to vilify a potential great leader, and vote for someone who can't win, solely on the distant past (not everyone is born into perfection) is bothersome to me.
The hollywood gang certainly could use some Conservatism. Dour is a very appropriate adjective. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
"I think Congressman Salazar is a good example of a decent democrat."
I'm not as familiar with him as I should be. I think that this new fella from out west...whatsisname...oh, Sen. Tester might turn out to be OK. Time will tell.
Our Sen. Webb is too fixated on losing the war in Iraq to be much use to us Virginians. But to his defense, I will note doesn't seem to differ much from his ideological brother in arms, his honorable uselessness...Sen. Warner.
Congressman Salazar caught my eye because of the The Stolen Valor Act he introduced. I was thrilled to read more on him. He gave me hope that there are still good people on both sides of the fence.
I hope you are right and Sen. Tester is good people too.

One of the sources I used in making that post was the Rainbowhistory.org.
Rainbowhistory is one of the spider sites for the Rainbow Network and Gay Blogs in speaking to everyone through the internet. 'They' use text worms in delivering information to spider throughout the networks which all pulls to the Gay Blogs.
See google for Spidergay.com
Good for you!

Brief history of the modern childlove movement
Homosexuals, however, can't do this. Therefore, they have to recruit. This is why they are in the schools, and this is why Nambla exists, to recruit, to fulfill the need of gay men to leave something of themselves behind in this wolrd, and to help preserve the (gay) sub-species (I recognize that species is probably not the right word here, someone please tell me what is).

Did you just read the main post? Or did you read on?
NAMBLA is Stonewall and is the Mattachine Society.
We have a large amount of officials and political action groups that are funded by them and are members of them.
I read... I thought what I said was adding rather than taking away from what you wrote. Just pointing out that philosophically if homosexuality exists as a movement then Nambla must, also exist. i.e. One can't support the homosexual movement while at the same time dismiss NAMBLA as just a bunch of lunatics.
In reference to the Human Rights Campaign, Log Cabin Republicans and Victory Funds:
Henry Harry Hay, the founder of the modern American gay movement, died on October 24, 2002 at age 90.
(snip)
Hay devoted his entire life to progressive politics, and in 1950 founded a state-registered foundation network of support groups for gays known as the Mattachine Society.
(snip)
Hay was also a co-founder, in 1979, of the Radical Faeries, a movement affirming gayness as a form of spiritual calling. A rare link between gay and progressive politics
(snip)
Harry was one of the first to realize that the dream of equality for our community could be attained through visibility and activism, said David M. Smith of the Human Rights Campaign in Washington, DC. When you were in a room with him, you had the sense you were in the company of a historic figure.
(snip)
Mattachine took its name from a group of medieval dancers who appeared publicly only in mask, a device well understood by homosexuals of the 1950s. Hay devised its secret cell structure (based on the Masonic order) to protect individual gays and the nascent gay network. Officially co-gender, the group was largely male -- the Daughters of Bilitis, the pioneering lesbian organization, formed independently in San Francisco in 1956.
(snip)
Though some criticized the Mattachine movement as insular, it grew to include thousands of members in dozens of chapters, which formed from Berkeley to Buffalo, and created a lasting national framework for gay organizing. Mattachine set the stage for rapid civil rights gains following 1969s Stonewall riots in New York City.
