IS this a weekly or nightly program?
FoxTabloidTrashNews is turning into a comedy channel anyway, what with all their Anna coverage, etc.
Maybe it is a good thing that they are seeking alternative programming. They have become very shallow regarding real news.
I'd have watched, if I'd remembered! It's on against Crossing Jordan, which usually has some pretty slick plot lines if you can ignore the PC crap.
A big thanks to the shows creators for stepping up and giving this a try.
Hope they keep on plugging!
The pilot was a bit weak (as most of them are) but the concept is a good one. Fox should give this show a chance.
Of course it got "mixed reviews." As long as the libs run the media you've gotta expect that.
I miss the old "Animal Rights Update" with "Born Free."
I thought the program was both clever and entertaining. The two hosts (names fail me)were really good at projecting their material--they were convincing actors in their respective roles.
Much less professional was Rush and Anne. They seemed wooden and not really into their roles, but rather just playing themselves.
I plan to watch.
Just MO
Suggestion for Faux News: Hire Dennis Miller to host the program.
Then watch those numbers double and maybe even triple!
The 1/2 hour news hour is a fun concept.
I hope it gets better. It came off as very amateurish - the actor's delivery could be a lot better, and the laugh track was absolutely horrid.
Joel Surnow said that these pilots were thrown together in haste and with a very small budget. I'm sorry to say that it shows.
But the concept does have potential. I hope Fox invests in improving it.
Who do they expect to watch at this time slot? Certainly not working people.
Skedded?
It's obvious what that means, but I've never heard it before.
I suppose if I were to regularly read Variety I'd have seen this term ... because I'd be all hip...
...n'junk
... ,Wally.
It was a lot like many other successful satirical shows -- some parts made me laugh, some parts didn't.
These days, a show that gives me an opportunity to laugh at the "antics" of politicians is very welcomed. I think the laughter is good for the heart and blood pressure of many Americans. It could be viewed as a mini-R&R from the stresses put on us by terrorists and Democrats. Along with his other health edicts, Mayor Bloomberg should make watching this show mandatory.
I hope the show lives on.
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my FoxFan list. *Warning: This can be a high-volume ping list at times.
But...but..but; the MSM and lots of smart people said it would suck and it would tank and...and...it would make puppies die!
I got to see it last night for the first time. I thought it was awful. As difficult as it was, I made it through the entire show. Limbaugh and Coulter wasn't even that good IMO. That laugh track was sickening.
