I don't know about you, but I doubt the Christian conservatives throughout the red state farm belt and especially down in the South are going to cotton to a liberal New York Yankee coming down to try to clean up crime by taking their guns and bringing abortion and gay unions (gay marriage) into their families, schools and churches.
>>>A liberal politico of the first order.
Mark this for later. Read it carefully to see the SDS connections.

Think tank helps Giuliani set his agenda (1998)
"The mayor was down here many times during the campaign," said Katon Dawson, chairman of the South Carolina Republican Party. "And I would say the mayor is very popular in South Carolina right now."

I wish i could say what I really think of you right now, but it would get me banned.
I knew people that wrote Nadar in years ago..I don't know how it works,I've never done it,but I will this time if the person is not listed..We need to at least vote,,it's step one in ,,(my words),,getting an America 1st type of thought in office, instead of the opposite..
a Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court instead of an Alito, Roberts or Scalia?
You might want to check with Rudy on Ginsburgh since he thinks she was a good appointee.
Please add at least one of the following to that excellent resume:

I'm going life NRA by next year.
Unfortunately, there are many FReepers who don't consider the murder of babies, the abandonment of six thousand years of Judeo-Christian culture and the denial of our Second Amendment rights to be evil.
Oh yes, but they insist that they are still conservatives.
Ultra social conservative Pat Robertson thinks Rudy would make a good president.
Asked if Giuliani would be an acceptable 2008 presidential candidate to Christian conservatives, Pat Robertson told ABC's "This Week:" "He did a super job running the city of New York and I think he'd make a good president."

I can't either. He has too many things going against him to be in the Oval Office.
I mean, Um, never mind....
Dangit, and I was gonna ask her for a favor.
hehehehe
Au contrairie, I know them better than you do, having been one (and still being one, albeit not a brainwashed one any longer).
P.S. Does my tag line below offend you? Its 100% true you know.
And yes, I AM 'saved' by your criteria even.
I would imagine that the depth and breadth of Rudy knowledge would vary wildly from one parishner to another, so I don't think I can farily answer what the "church knows". My intent was to say that my personal contact with fellow parishners has led me to believe that Rudy is indeed favored over other candidates.
As for the church I attend, it's been brought to my attention before that I might have too much personally identifiying information on my homepage, so I think I'll pass with a detail as personal as where I can be found every Sunday morning.
You always were a drama queen.
So Rudy is the Messiah after all? I'll be danged.
". I attend an evangelical church, and I'm solidly in the Giuliani camp. Seems like most of us at church are these days. I just wanted you to know."
You ought to back up your statements with facts. I have not heard anyone in the evangelical circles I associate with say that Rudy is their man, quite the opposite in fact.
The former. I make no claims to presience.
LOL
Conservatism's essence is CONSERVING and PRESERVING.
Those who over-react to a less-than-ideal world by boycott or sabotage (threats to not vote--or to vote for Hillary etc.) do themselves no favors. If we don't play our hand to the best of our ability, the hand is worthless--and remember, Liberals ALWAYS lie and bluff.
Meanwhile it is sheer IDIOCY to be stampeded, railroaded, herded by those seeking to shape mass opinion and steer it Leftward.
We have PLENTY of time to sit back and wait for some imperfect but satisfactory true Conservatives to rise to the top.
...popcorn, anyone?
