Whats that about a consensus concerning anthropogenic global warming? Well, regardless of the assertions by such experts as Al Gore and Ellen Goodman, more and more professionals actually involved in the climate industry are speaking out against this man-made myth.
The most recent announcement by skeptics came during a panel discussion Tuesday evening in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.
Laufman, who has free-lanced for WOIO Channel 19 and taught meteorology courses at several local colleges, including Case Western Reserve University, also referenced history.
"There was also a significant spike in world temperatures during the 1400s -- and that was well before the Industrial Revolution," he said "We haven't studied it long enough to know what causes global warming."
Even Webster, who now lives in Hilton Head, S.C., but flew in this week to moderate the discussion, was flippant.
"Where's Al Gore now?" he joked with the audience, referring to the former vice president and his documentary film, "An Inconvenient Truth," which argues the case for global warming. "You can bet he's not in New York, where they've got nearly 12 feet of snow right now."

Oregon's governor wants to fire the state climatologist because he doesn't Believe the way the governor wants him to.
Hillsdale is about the only place I know of that can regularly make the list of top colleges in America (at least small ones) and yet often manage to make the list of the top party schools.
We work hard and study hard, then we party on the weekend. At lest, that's how it was when I was there. (Hey, what else did we have to do? We were about 50-75 miles from everywhere.)

A tropical heat wave..."
Hey, thank God for global warming or you might be in the single digits.
Thank you, and needless to say, I agree.
I would encourage any FReepers who would like their kids to get a good education free of liberal indoctrination to send them there.

Good article. Looks like the UN has 'cooked' the books.
The interstates here in central Pennsylvania are still closed!!
With a wind chill in the single digits, most of the back roads are sheets of ice.
I'd like to have a talk with that darned groundhog! Early spring my foot!
And don't forget a sticker you'll have to buy to run your lawn mower. Also coals for cooking out (I'm an evil meat eater!) And lets restrict those pesky fireplaces that burn up our beautiful forests.
Basically, I don't give a damned how hot or cold it will be in 10,000 years, and neither does my children or grandchildren. None of of will be here and anyone of my blood line still here then won't know I was ever around anyway. Who cares?
Cleveland Rocks!
It's warm and nice in northern California, but January was cold for this place. We spent weeks with it below freezing in the mornings. Most people know about the citrus crops getting ruined.
Chicken is always busy! What next?
Whoops! Chicken Little!
I remember hearing about the citrus crops in Northern California.
The high is -5 you win, what is the low?
Congratulations. One of my sons graduated from Hillsdale about 5 -6 years ago. Great college.
