March On the Pentagon March 17, 2007 Washington, D.C.

On March 17, 2007 a group of anti-war protestors are planning to march to the Pentagon from Washington, D.C. The March 17th anti-war demonstration will assemble at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (Constitution Gardens) at 12 noon in Washington, D.C. and march to the Pentagon. In order to ensure that the Wall and other Memorials in the general area are not defaced, like what happened at the anti-war demonstration at the U.S. Capitol on January 27th. I am requesting that as many Rolling Thunder, Inc. chapters, members and supporters that can make it, meet at the Wall no later than 8:00 AM on the 17th. We do not want, nor will we tolerate a repeat of what happened at the U.S. Capitol. Rolling Thunder members be sure to wear your Rolling Thunder vests on the 17th. Show your support to our Troops, to those who sacrificed their lives in the past Wars and to protect our Memorials. Hope you can make it.

For those who have fought for it, freedom has a special meaning that the protected will neve know.

Keelhauling would bee a little tough to carry out but a dungaree liberty would be most worthwhile.

The DC Chapter rules of protest clearly say that we are to be respectful of all law enforcement officers. That said, no I will not stand by and watch if they come with spray paint to deface the Vietnam Veterans or ANY memorial. They did this to the Capital building in late January and Capital police were given instructions to leave them alone.

I hope there are enough "Eagles" there that they realize that herding is not an option, or better still, that it would be easier to herd them because their numbers are fewer. We need a lot of people to protect what we all consider hallowed ground.

It will be good to see you again and to meet anyone new you bring with you. It's been a long time since you were at Walter Reed. I did enjoy the report of your trip and experience you had meeting some of the wounded.

So--on SEPTEMBER 11th- I Went down with my 9/11 memorial and posters and was AMAZED that the " SOCIALIST of NEW YORK CITY were ALLOWED to satnd FIVE FEET right infornt of the " Memorial Fense" and SCREAM OVER AND OVER their obnoxious " Bush Lied-People died " and other "Chnats" That NO-One down there could even UnderSTAND!! -the Socialists were so worked up into a freenzy!! no-one could understand what they were even SAYING!!

I asked the Officer WHY ARE THEY ALLOWED to be so close and so disruptive!! He turned to me and said-

"..because it IS a PUBLIC Side Walk--and THEY have LAWYERS and "I" am just a Beat-Officer hoping to last out this day and then go back to the Bronx in my regular station..."

THIS is what "Happenes" to our TOWNS, CITIES, STATES when you hear GOOD, HONEST & DECENT People say ;

WE'D Out-Number the Marchers--and THEN they would NOT get close enough to ANY Monument to deface it cause WE WOULD BE Lined up TOO DEEP for them to get thru!!

In the next 5-6 months I would like to go to as many Rallies- help out as MUCH as I can--so I can say later when resting," I am happy I did as much as I could while here."-

What will all the others who "..sorry-can't make it that day .." Say to themsleves 30-40-50-60 years from now when THEY are sitting down collecting their small, disgusting Security Check??--that they Sincerely can say they "DID ALL THEY COULD HAVE DONE" to PREVENT what America HAS TURNED INTO??
